About
EagleSticks Golf Club tumbles across gently rolling farmland situated just outside of Zanesville. The constant up-and-down characterizes the course from the rolling fairways to the undulating greens. The total elevation changes amount to more than 100 feet. The hilly terrain is adorned with pristine forests of oak, maple, ash, oak, and walnut trees. Cascading waterfalls can be found throughout the golf course as well. There are scenic views everywhere but don't let that distract you, the challenging layout requires your full attention. There are 90 bunkers strategically situated along the fairways and greens. It's not particularly long at 6,500 yards from the back tees, it's a golf course that instead favors accuracy over power. The par-5 11th is EagleSticks Golf Club's signature hole. Starting with a daunting downhill plunge, there is a creek that splits the fairway and a stream that runs alongside the left approaching the green.

Golfer Reviews
It's been a rough summer for Eaglesticks
The dry summer in Zanesville has impacted this lovely course. Greens are still excellent, but several fairways and tee boxes are burned out. Pace of play was slightly over 4 hours, about normal for a Friday afternoon. Not enough staff at the snack bar to handle golfers plus regular lunch patrons. This is a wonderful course for women, at 4,200 yards. Also less than 5,400 yards from the white tees.
This is still a great place to play, they just need a few inches of rain, and cooler days to regenerate the grass in burned out areas.
Not bad despite the rain
Course was in pretty good shape considering the rain. Fun layout requires accurate shots or you'll be hating yourself. Pace of play was slow even with just a twosome in front, but overall a good experience.
Disappointing Conditions
1st time that I played this course in 2 years. Course was considered to be 4 stars and part of packages with Longaberger and had always in good shape. Parts of many fairways burnt out. Greens and Tee Boxes also starting to get in bad shape. Many bunkers unplayable. Need to hire some maintenance personnel or have the ones you have do their job. Very Disappointed.
Quit after 11 holes
The first nine was good. The second nine a group of 4 was place ahead of us on the back nine. After waiting to hit our second shot on hole 11 for 45 minutes we quit and went home. I will never do that again!
Pleasure
The course was in really good condition. Layout is excellent, pretty and manicured well. I had a great round of golf despite the very slow play.
Challenging but Playable
This was my first time playing and the course was fantastic. The course plays tight but not so tight you lose an errant tee shot. The golfnow deal was worth every penny. The staff was fantastic and very friendly. Would have given 5 stars for course condition but the greens had recently been punched and did not play consistently from hole to hole. I will play here again and will bring others to the course
EagleSticks
Great course. Hot deal price is tremendous. I played on a Monday so the grounds crew was out in full force but they were very polite and friendly. Practice facilities were nice and the course was in good shape. Definitely recommend trying this course if you have the opportunity!
Surprisingly poor condition
The course wasn't in its usual good condition.Sand traps were not groomed and mud in them .Ruff had a lot dandelions and clover.Green condition was fair but very slow. I live in the area and this isn't what you expect for this course.Possibly they're behind due to the late spring this year??
Excellent course
Very challenging course....we always take company there when visiting. Although there were rude people on other holes(radio playing pretty loud...whooping and hollering...talking extremely loud)...was glad when they were no longer in area. Early in season and 20 year olds having fun!! Been to this course many times and never encountered this behavior from others. Love playing this course and will return.
Great Course
I really enjoy playing Eagle Sticks. It's almost a 2 hour drive for me but I make sure to play there 2-3 times per year. The course is always well maintained and pace of play has always been great. If I lived closer I would join Eagle Sticks. Also, we always stay after the round and grab a bite to eat and it's always been good with friendly staff.
Delivered on promise...
Once again EagleSticks has provided my golfing group with an extremely memorable experience. Gorgeous course with tremendous staff. Everyone was informative and happy to discuss the course. Cart personnel was outstanding. Loved every minute of it. I booked through 9 stars of golf which is an extreme value. Great work again this year.
Great course great value
This course is a fabulous layout. I love the architect's use of the topography. Second time playing the course and I would play it more frequently if I didn't live 300 miles away.
Dissiapointed
This is my 2nd time playing Eaglesticks, and it is not the same nice course I remember. Their is alot of sand on the course, but you might as well drop your ball in the parking lot and give it a go. Hard as a rock. Pase of play was bad. No Ranger in sight. 90 degrees and no cart girl. Greens were inconsistent, rough was burnt out. I won't be back. Not worth the 46 dollars. Save your money and play elsewhere.
Beautiful views
Nice and hilly to influence shots; can work for you or against you. Lies will affect bend of shots so need to line up correctly. Tends to play slow due to blind landings and curvaceous paths; easy to temporarily lose balls. But look around while waiting; the views are great, especially in autumn. Greens a bit slow when we played, but true. Have played when cut faster. No on course beverage cart and longish trek to clubhouse at turn. Service fair (slow for lunch in past so did not attempt this time). A good course to play once or twice a season.
