I have been playing this course this spring. While the course is challenging but fair. It is also in pretty good condition and the pace play is very good. The best part of the playing here is interacting with the staff, most particularly Kelly and Tyler. I really enjoy being able to take a few minutes before or after my round and just talk about golf. Sometimes the course, the PGA tour or my game. These guys are willing to do that and I really enjoy it. They are really nice personable guys. I wish them the very best.

We play this course quite often despite it being an hour and twenty minute drive because it's a beating and fun course to play. We also have played in a couple nine hole couples scrambles that are help periodically on Friday night. This event is fun and laid back and then they feed you ! How could you not want to play in that! We also have meet some awesome couples and hope to play in some future event. Stan & Teresa

This course has so much potential to be great or is on the downside after being great. One of the few courses within driving distance of Columbus that offers true undulation throughout. The greens are tough but fair and the course has many great spots.

Now for the rest of the story… The course in general, not including the bunkers or some of the greens, is in decent shape. Anybody that calls it “PGA like” has never seen an actual PGA course or even a higher level private course. Fairways, in general, are well cared for.; but the tee boxes do not give the upscale look or feel, and many are not level. The bunkers are a complete joke with weeds growing in them and no sand. While sand isn’t cheap, the lack of attention (weeds!?!) to these is very unfortunate and embarrassing. A couple greens have disease as well that has taken over. Driving range has no distance markers. Not sure why.

The overall value, however, is pretty good. But be prepared for an extremely long round on the weekend. Six hours? I’ve never seen anything like that, not even in a large format scramble. A ranger did come around (not until hole 11) to ask how things were going, but pace of play needs to be seriously attended to. The course is unique and I would recommend it to somebody, especially due to the price; but just make sure the expectations are not of the photos that you see on the website. Staff was great and it could be a gem with some more TLC. With the rain and cool nights of late, there is little excuse for courses not to be in pristine shape as the conditions have been perfect for a great bent grass grow . It’s just not there yet. But still worth it to play.

As usual, Eaglesticks was in great shape. Even better than the course which is outstanding is the staff. The Pro Kelly and his staff do an exceptional job. Can't wait to get back.

3 of us played Eaglesticks for the 1st time this year. We had an outstanding day. The weather was great, the course was in excellent condition and provided plenty of challenge, and Kelly Morrow and his assistant Tyler could not have been friiendlier or more accomodating. Eaglesticks is at the top of our list for courses to play when we travel southeast of Columbus. We are returning in 2 weeks for another round.

Course is fun and challenging. Kelly is very friendly and helpful. Good food. Only reason I didn't rate excellent was that driving range wasn't open that day and there has been lots of rain early in the year.

Had my 8 year old son out for his first 18 hole round. It was a memorable day and he pitched in on 14 from about 40 yards! It was a great day, staff was very friendly in the pro shop and the restaurant. We will be back!!

Absolutely enjoyed the round of golf. Beautiful course and challenging holes. Fairways looked like a PGA course. Staff was extremely nice and very helpful with advise for first time players. And will be traveling from Dallas to Ohio again Sept 2019 to play the course again.

A hidden gem inside Zanesville. Half pipe style fairways help to keep you in play and keep pace moving well. The greens are very true and are some of the best around.

Think the world of the folks here and have played every year for many years but this year the course was not in good shape, bare fairways, bad looking tees and really really wet cart paths only makes for a too long round.

Our group traveled from the Lancaster area to play Eaglesticks and we were not disappointed. The staff welcomed us warmly and made us feel appreciated. The sports bar/club house is very nicely appointed and the chicken wings are awesome. The fairways are a bit burnt out in spots, but, overall, the course was in pretty decent shape. The greens were in good shape and rolled true & quick. And, unlike a lot of courses, there is a driving range to hit a few balls before playing. We'll be back for more rounds even if it is a bit of a drive.

The course is fun to play and very challenging but course conditions were poor… Particularly the fairways.

I was really looking forward to playing this course. I have heard about it for years. The staff and 19th hole were great. The course was not in great shape. Looks like they are fighting to save some fairways and tee boxes. It has been hot with a lot of rain so I know it can be tough to keep them in good shape. I wish I would have known about conditions prior to booking. The pace of play was terrible. We were a foursome tucked into a group of about 10 twosomes who did not play fast. I would suggest putting twosomes together into foursomes. It took us over 5 and a half hours to play. I will go back but I will call ahead of time and ask about tee sheet and course conditions.

Again all staff were great.
