The course always plays extremely slow and the course needs a lot of repairs

I have played this course a few times and have always found it to be in good condition and a fun and manageable course to play. Shot position is essential on most holes if you want to avoid hazards and bunkers. The only drawback to the course is its location - it is off the beaten path for anyone who does not live in the area and the small town roads are usually quite congested.

If you want great golf, accommodations, service, food, and facilities, THIS is the place for you. If you want snooty, country club treatment, look elsewhere. Kelly Morrow and his staff at Eagle Sticks golf course offer the best package deal out there. We just returned from our second trip on the "stay and play" package, and it could not have been any better! Our four day stay included 108 holes of golf at two of the finest courses that Ohio has to offer. While Longaberger may be the (slightly) tougher of the two, I enjoy playing Eagle Sticks more. It is a course that rewards good shots and makes you pay for missing the fairways. The facilities at both are top rate. Longaberger offers everything from crab cakes to BBQ meatloaf sandwiches on their menu, and the portions at Eagle Sticks grill were so huge that we had to delay dinner plans because we were still full, even hours later. From the time we arrived until the time we left, we were treated like a member of the family. A special thanks to Kelly Morrow for all your help in the planning of our trip, and especially for the way you treated us after we arrived. Top notch in every way. As I said earlier, if you want a great golf vacation, THIS is the trip for you. Oh, and by the way, our twosome played our last 18 holes in under three hours! We WILL be back!!!

Just got back from a four day '9 stars of Golf' package at Eagle Sticks and Longaberger. Eagle Sticks is a great course with a challenging, enjoyable layout. Kelly Morrow and his staff do a terrific job making you feel welcome and the overall experience is top notch! Looking forward to our next visit!

Some golf buddies and I bought a golf package for Eaglesticks and Longaberger, which was a great deal and included a hotel night. The weather is hard to predict in Ohio this time of year and we missed some good weather by a couple days. But for being early in the season, the course was in great shape and the greens were fast. We took carts and were cart path only because it had rained the prior day. There were some major puddles due to the rain. Still we had a great time and enjoyed the course.

As a Christmas present to my sons and son in-laws this year I gave them a stay and play weekend through Eagles Sticks. Despite rain and cold the first day, it was an outstanding trip. The hotel accommodations were perfect, and the service was incredible. Despite having to play Longaberger a 45 degrees and rain, we loved the course. The sun came out for Eagle Sticks the next day and this course was wonderful and maybe even a little more challenging. We will definitely do this again.

We played Eagle Sticks through the Nine Stars of Golf package. The course was in great shape. The large greens are quick and roll smooth and true. The course layout is unique and gives you a fresh look and challenging shot every time. Make sure that you pull yourself out of the game and take the time to admire the great scenic views that are abundantly available throughout the course.
The Staff are friendly and their priority to make you feel welcome and to ensure that your visit is the best that it can be. The food in the Pub is outstanding and the service is quick. I have been to many course that make you feel rushed and like you’re just another golfer that they have to deal with. This is NOT one of those courses. When I lived in the area I played Eagle Sticks a lot and have never received anything but the best service.
If you’re looking to get away for a couple of days the Nine Stars of Golf package is the answer. Both courses are outstanding and you can’t beat the cost. We stayed at the Comfort Inn and the staff and rooms are far above average.

course in great shape and there has been tons of rain latley. For a course that tips out at 6500 yards it will beat you up if u miss fairways. Greens were glass amd rolled true

I am a local player, and I have always enjoyed my rounds at Eaglesticks! It is truly a blessing to have such a beautiful coarse, right in my backyard. A highly recommended golf experience!!!

Eagesticks has figured it out when it comes to management on and off the course. The staff make it just as enjoyable to play as the course does. The up-keep is top-class and Kelly Morrow is a pleasure to deal with.
The pro shop is one of the best around with access to order any equipment you may like.
I will be coming back often without question.

EagleSticks Golf Club offers a magnificent course with fantastic views. The greens are always in great condition and make for quite a challenge with the undulation. Hurdzan Fry Design Group definitely did a wonderful job planning and designing the layout of this course. Aside from the course conditions, the staff at EagleSticks is very courteous and is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that your time their is enjoyable. From the moment I arrived at EagleSticks until the time I left, I felt welcomed and appreciated for my business there.

I contacted EagleSticks to purchase a gift for my boyfriend. I received immediate response from the course manager, Kelly. He was able to take care of right away and had my gift to me the next day! He was extremely helpful and friendly! Recognizing customer service isn't the most common aspect given to a golf course, but it takes the intitial impression to make the full experience amazing. This is going to be the best surprise gift ever, and I have Kelly to thank for it. He has committed to ensure my boyfriend has an excellence golf experience, and I believe and trust in him! One of the best courses in Ohio. Very scenic, very challenging. Conditions are always fantastic. Staff is great, always friendly. Love playing there.

We have been enjoying EagleSticks as a destination golf trip for the past several years, and have no plans on changing to anywhere else.
Its a fantastic place to play golf for all skill levels... From the beginner to the seasoned veteran you will be challenged from the first tee shot to the last putt. Dollar for dollar the course conditions are always perfect and a cut above anybody else for this price point. Elevated tees allow for some incredible views ,that sometimes make you forget that your still in Ohio. Kelly ,Mike and their staff treat us first rate and are always there to make sure we enjoy our "extended stay"

Eagle Sticks is a favorite place for your family. We try to play here at least one time each season. It is so scenic, challenging, and yet doesn't require us to be pga players to be successful. Great place for lunch afterwards. People there are so nice. And for a treat they have some great golf clothes to purchase.

This course is plushy & maintained very well, a pretty place to play w/great scenery- but at the same time it will beat you up if you dont hit fairways- tough test, im LH & the last time i played here i was pushing shots left- i paid for it too, lol, im from mansfield & this course fairways are nicer than the greens up in my town- great clubhouse too, looking forward to playing there this summer- i'd rate this place a ten

It's been about 18 months since our golf group has been to Eaglesticks on their 9 stars of golf packages. We've had outings there for 5 -6 times over the years. The entire staff from Kelly all the way down to the restaurant went out of their way to make our outings excellent. The golf course itself has always been in fantastic shape, and with multiple sets of tees, its like playing a different course every day. Planning on coming back to play there this year. Great job Eaglesticks!!!

I've played golf for over 50 years, and Eaglesticks is one of my favorite courses. I don't live in Ohio, but I make it a point to travel and play Eaglesticks at least every other year. Like the old saying goes, "try it, you'll like it"!
