About
EagleSticks Golf Club tumbles across gently rolling farmland situated just outside of Zanesville. The constant up-and-down characterizes the course from the rolling fairways to the undulating greens. The total elevation changes amount to more than 100 feet. The hilly terrain is adorned with pristine forests of oak, maple, ash, oak, and walnut trees. Cascading waterfalls can be found throughout the golf course as well. There are scenic views everywhere but don't let that distract you, the challenging layout requires your full attention. There are 90 bunkers strategically situated along the fairways and greens. It's not particularly long at 6,500 yards from the back tees, it's a golf course that instead favors accuracy over power. The par-5 11th is EagleSticks Golf Club's signature hole. Starting with a daunting downhill plunge, there is a creek that splits the fairway and a stream that runs alongside the left approaching the green.

Great experience
Used a group golfer and was treateed like a king. Staff was kind enough to answer my Q's and was very responsive about how to enhance my experience playing there. At some venues I have experienced a reluctance to be friendly when using any type of coupon to play.. The course was in excellent condition and a real test to my skill level. Will definitely return and will encourage friends to play there .

Gorgeous rolling hills
Every hole, unique and picturesque. Really glad we played well and stayed in the the fairways or it would have been a very long day. Loved every minute!
Slowest ever
Play this course a few times a year. Conditions are consistently going downhill, but prices keep going up.
If you like a 5+ hour round, enjoy. We called pro shop twice, but nobody responded to the problem. Love the restaurant, but again, 1hr wait for a hamburger doesn't cut it. Sorry fellas, but you can do better.
Worth a visit
The drive from Columbus is well worth it. Fairways and greens are in great shape, some tee boxes are a bit torn up from lots of traffic. Rough was pretty dried up but not a big concern. Will be beautiful in a couple weeks when the leaves start to change for fall!
Golf Package
We signed up for the 2 day golf package that included Eaglesticks and Virtues. Courses and accommodations were great. Planning and follow through was excellent. We are planning on returning in the Spring.
Decent course layout
Nice course, played there Labor Day Sunday, really needed a ranger on-site. Play was incredibly slow
The layout is a little odd, as tee boxes sit next to greens or other tee boxes - so you have people talking to their groups beside you on another hole and/or you have folks hitting into you on the next tee.
Awesome Experience
EagleSticks has been a staple course for me for 20 years now. I started playing it as a collegiate golfer, then played in the awesome 5 stars of golf tournament and another one of my favorites is the Labor Day 3 man scramble! Kelly and his staff run excellent tournaments and always have the course in tip top condition; and anything you could ever want in the pro shop!
WOW, this course is in great shape.
I wish people would appreciate the course and repair ball marks on the greens and throw away broken tees on the tee boxes. This is not the fault of the employees of the course!!! It's the fault of the lazy bums that don't care. This course is phenomenal.

One of the best in Ohio
I have been going to Eaglesticks for over 20 years and still find this to be one of the best golf experiences in Ohio. The staff is friendly, the course is always in great shape and very picturesque, and the food in the grill is wonderful. It's worth the drive from Canton; I will be back in the fall.

Gem worth the $$
Being new to the area, I’m looking at different courses to see if I could find a new home. I found this, and based on the reviews thought I would give it a try. The reviews are spot on, while the course is a little on the short side, the elevation changes make up for that. I love the layout, and the course was in great shape. From the moon when I arrived, the staff was extremely friendly from check in and the snack shop I would definitely play again.

Nice track
I've enjoyed Eaglesticks each time I've played it.
The greens were a little patchy but decent condition.
