Eagles Pride Golf Course - Green/Red
About
Eagles Pride Golf Course has long been known as one of the best military courses in the country and luckily for golfers, it's open to the public. Originally opened in 1940, the course started as the 18-hole Fort Lewis Golf Course. Another nine was added in 1979 but it wasn’t until the mid-1990s that it became Eagles Pride. The three nines are called the Green, Red, and Blue, and they are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Green/Red Course starts with the newest and most challenging of the three nines. The course will test you with plenty of trees, water hazards, undulating slopes, and even the occasional blind shot. There are some tough holes but players of all skill levels could enjoy any of the nines.
Previously known as Green/Red at Fort Lewis Golf Course.

Great valued course but worst customer service.
Based on golf, worth every penny, time and drive. Based on manager, starter, etc, quite rude and not receptive. :-/
Great Course
I have played 320 courses around the country and Mexico in 9 years of golfing Eagles Pride at Fort Lewis is in the top 25.
Great condition
This course offered many challenges along with birdie opportunities. It was a pleasure to play along with the great weather.
Fun
I and my friends had a great time at at this course. The course was in great shape for still being early spring after an incredible wet winter.
Great Course!
The course was in great shape for early in the year!! Staff was great, very helpful!! Greens are are still a little rough, should be great in two weeks. Didn't mind because everything else made it worth it!!
Cart Paths Only
I have no problem with the course management combining the Red and Blue 9's in to one winter 9 + adding the Green 9 for 18. I was disappointed to not be able to show my playing partner the best holes on the course that are out of play till next year. The course ( And Especially Golfnow) should advise customers they are CART PATHS ONLY before you buy the round. This makes the round slow and frustrating. I would not have gone if I had known, or, I would have walked. If this had not been the no refund golfnow I would have walked away, although the golf shop guy that checked us in did not tell us the winter layout was in effect or CART PATHS ONLY. Had to learn that from the starter. Less steps than using a cart path only cart. Will not be back till next summer.
