Lake Spanaway Golf Course

Thanks to Golf Now, or the reduced rates, we were able to afford to play at Lake Spanaway again.

It was enjoyable, and we (3) were well pleased.

Unfortunately, since then we have not been able to obtain the same reduced rate so we are waiting for better times.

Was impressed with the staff freindliness and the conditions of the greens, fast and firm! Really love the layout and it's over 7000 yards from the black tees so should keep even the bigger hitters happy. Favorite hole was the par 3 7th? an elevated tee to a large green. The 1950's-60's clubhouse and out-house buildings add a sence of a different era. The huge Fir trees are a bonus and the golf history in the clubhouse (Ryan Moore winning p-sound Am) is cool to look at (history of clubs/balls)

The course is looking beautiful! It’s alway nice but wow right now they are doing an outstanding job on making the course look amazing! Hands down best course around! Pace of play was slow and lots of waiting but that’s hit and miss on the daily. Overall excellent day on the course

We were pleased with the speed of play today, much better that prior visits this spring.

My only complaint was with the lack of coordination of the starting positions, there weren’t any.

Our only remaining hope is that the management will allow for the more opportunities for us Golf Now members to play at rates that are more readily available at reasonable rates.

It took 5 hours to play 18 today!! Granted it was a beautiful day and there were a lot of people out, but it’s just too long.

The foursome in-front of us had us waiting at each tee, and the course Marshall couldn’t do anything to hurry them up ( I suppose).

For some reason we were able to finish in 4.5 hours today, which was not too bad.

My hope is that the folks will continue to support Golf Now and offer specials as I was able to take advantage of today.

Even though there has been a lot of rain, the fairways and green were quite firm. Chemicals had been applied to the greens, and we all ended up with blue stains on our hands. Overall I like this course. Not too much water or hazards that cause lost balls.

mostly, it was great. only negative I have is green condition. more fun if they can make ball roll little faster. overall it was fun to play at this course at discount price, thanks to golfnow!

Wednesday’s are ladies day, so play was really slow. Five hours for the round. The course was in good shape considering how much rain we’ve had.

The staff was very nice, and the cart lady was outstanding.

This is a full par 72 course

We had a 9:30 tee time, 38degrees. 11 and it was 55, 1:00 72.degrees. On our front nine it was really slow. Women's league was playing with lots of players. They weren't slow, just a lot of people, waited at each tee off. But, on the back 9 no waiting And gorgeous day! We will come back!

The course was in great shape for this time of year except that the greens were bumpy with ball marks and other bumps.

Was looking for another dry course in the area and this is it! With all the rain we've had this past couple of months the course is firm and in great shape!

Golf course was in great condition for November! Only complaint would be if you pay for a beer and they try to give it to you half filled with foam you shouldn’t receive an attitude for telling them to re pour or you don’t want it! Learn to pour a beer out of a tap... tilt cup then pour, straighten as you fill!

Pace of play was good for a Saturday 11:30 tee time. Food and drink service was excellent. The one negative was we had to wait to get a cart.
