Prairie Woods Golf Course tumbles across some of Wisconsin's most rolling terrain. On almost any point on the course, whether you're standing on the tees, the fairways, or the greens, the undulating landscape will put your skills of perception to the test. The golf course offers plenty of variety with a unique design on each hole. The rolling hills determined the strategic placement of the bunkers and there are water hazards coming into play on several holes. It's a layout that will keep you on your toes and reward a well thought-out shot, but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. The golf course is just over 6,000 yards from the back tees but the changes in elevation can make it feel longer. Besides being one of the most unique rounds in the area, Prairie Woods G.C. is also one of the most affordable.

Enjoyable round
Nice local course. It was in good shape and offered a nice variety of holes with some in woods and others in the prairie, as the name indicates.

What a hidden gem!! Great course for all skill levels!! Course was in immaculate shape!! I will definitely be playing here more often!!
Fun course that makes you think.
It’s a fun course that makes you hit a bunch of different shots but is still scoreable. Free range balls included was a nice touch. Clubhouse food was great. Conditions were fine for the money. Greens were in great shape.
A favorite
By far my favorite local course. Not very long, but lots of tricky holes where you have choices to make. Nice layout, well maintained, and nice people. They use "dynamic" pricing, so you can usually get a bargain if you wait or use an online tee time service.
