About
Prairie Woods Golf Course tumbles across some of Wisconsin's most rolling terrain. On almost any point on the course, whether you're standing on the tees, the fairways, or the greens, the undulating landscape will put your skills of perception to the test. The golf course offers plenty of variety with a unique design on each hole. The rolling hills determined the strategic placement of the bunkers and there are water hazards coming into play on several holes. It's a layout that will keep you on your toes and reward a well thought-out shot, but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. The golf course is just over 6,000 yards from the back tees but the changes in elevation can make it feel longer. Besides being one of the most unique rounds in the area, Prairie Woods G.C. is also one of the most affordable.

very nice layout back seems to be a little more challenging than the front course was in very good condition the only complaint I have is the lack of respect for the course by many players in that lot's of divots not replaced in the fairway and people not fixing big ball marks on the greens it's a shame
Great Course
The course is always in great shape. Fun layout, with reachable greens, even for us older guys.
Unfortunately on this Sunday, they let (5) play in a group and we got stuck behind a group that did not respect the course or golf. Driving up to the green. Not caring at all about the rest of us.
Besides that! The course is a great challenge. I love the fact you tee off with irons and dog legs all over the place. Great course to manage your game.
I will come back over and over!!!!!
Just get a marshal out there for the rest of us!!
Good course to work on your short game
Fun, sporty course with some interesting holes. Good opportunity to work on your short game and putting if you're used to playing longer courses.

Favorite course
Our favorite course and worth the almost 1 hour drive to play there. It's always in nice shape. The varied elivations and lots of trees make it very interesting, yet makeable.
Great Course Great value
The course is just as the name says the front nine is in the Prairie with some water. And the back nine is in the woods. The course is neatly capped and I also love the perk of free range balls
A lot of fun!
