Clean facility and course well maintained.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. The grounds crew are doing a great job on the course as well. We travel a solid 30 minutes but always enjoy our outing!

Not bad for this early.....
I played browns lake after a week of rain and thought it would be muddy. But after calling the clubhouse and finding out there was no restrictions with the carts I decided. It up with a delightful twosome and we moved surprisingly quickly throughout the course. We were pleasantly surprised by how dry the course was and how very puttable the greens were. The greens actually had nice speed and they were firm but holding. My compliments to the greens keeper and crew.

Great course for the Money
I play this course a few times a year. Has a nice mixture of easy and hard holes. I don't think it's irrigated but it drains well. It has some architectural problems, a couple of holes where it's easy to have golfers from other fairways hit into you, and blind shots off the tee. Course currently in good shape, Greens roll true. Next tee is usually near previous green, so it's walkable. a Solid course at a great price

Hidden gem. Nice layout, good course for all levels of play. Best golf course bridge ever.
Most of all an exceptionally friendly staff and very welcoming environment for first timers
here. Will want to visit more often.
Great course for the price
Challenging course with white tees 1000 yards longer than yellow. Started out playing white tees and switched to yellow when the distances started to get much longer. White tees would require very strong drives and long iron shots to get on in regulation. Some of the fairways are quite close together. Tee times are also close together which impacted pace of play as I was constantly waiting for the group ahead of me to tee of and finish the hole. proximity of fairways led to other groups constantly being around you. I prefer courses where the holes are more isolated and you aren't as close to other groups but would definitely go back if I can't get a tee time at my preferred course.

Brown’s Lake Golf Course has always been one of my favorite courses. It isn’t the most prestigious and it doesn’t possess the quality grounds that other courses may have, but it is pleasant, groomed well for the price, and the experience is always very nice. Love the holes by the river.
