Great course for the Money
I play this course a few times a year. Has a nice mixture of easy and hard holes. I don't think it's irrigated but it drains well. It has some architectural problems, a couple of holes where it's easy to have golfers from other fairways hit into you, and blind shots off the tee. Course currently in good shape, Greens roll true. Next tee is usually near previous green, so it's walkable. a Solid course at a great price

Hidden gem. Nice layout, good course for all levels of play. Best golf course bridge ever.
Most of all an exceptionally friendly staff and very welcoming environment for first timers
here. Will want to visit more often.
Great course for the price
Challenging course with white tees 1000 yards longer than yellow. Started out playing white tees and switched to yellow when the distances started to get much longer. White tees would require very strong drives and long iron shots to get on in regulation. Some of the fairways are quite close together. Tee times are also close together which impacted pace of play as I was constantly waiting for the group ahead of me to tee of and finish the hole. proximity of fairways led to other groups constantly being around you. I prefer courses where the holes are more isolated and you aren't as close to other groups but would definitely go back if I can't get a tee time at my preferred course.

Brown’s Lake Golf Course has always been one of my favorite courses. It isn’t the most prestigious and it doesn’t possess the quality grounds that other courses may have, but it is pleasant, groomed well for the price, and the experience is always very nice. Love the holes by the river.

Nice layout...need to play it a few times to figure out some of the holes....Will definitely be back.

Loved playing here. Everyone is super nice. Fairways and greens are in excellent shape. Very well maintained. If you get off into rough outside of first couple cuts, the ground is a little hard. A few tee boxes are close to previous greens making wayward approaches a little anxious. But will definitely go back and play here again!!
Maybe just bad luck
Tee’d off at 7 am 5 hr round. I think we just got stuck behind some beginners because there 2 groups on each tee box at all times, it didn’t help when the starter inserted a 3aome between my group and the group ahead of us after we were already waiting on every hole.
Otherwise, beautiful course, some traps in play but overall a good scoring course.

Nice Course
First thing I have to say is how great the greens were. In spite of the dry weather, they were nice and smooth and rolled true. Course was in pretty good shape. Pace of paly was decent.

Jeff and his staff are all very accommodating, helpful, polite and concerned about your golf experience. Seems the price bumped up this year but not unfairly compared to others.
