Bass Lake Golf Course boasts some of the finest golf in the Northwoods. Carefully carved from mature forests of oak and pine trees, the course is abundant with native wildlife. The course dates back to 1926 but it underwent a major renovation in 2003 that made certain aspects more challenging, while also making it more playable for a wider range of skill levels. The layout is much like playing two golf courses in one with a front nine that is tightly lined with trees and a hillier back nine that wraps around a large lake. There are also a few small ponds that come into play on the front nine. The rolling terrain guarantees uneven lies as well as the occasional blind shot. Accuracy will also be needed in order to avoid the strategically placed sand traps, mature trees, and thick rough.

Fun course, lots of quirky holes but playable.Great staff!
Great north woods course
Fun layout, and they keep it in great shape. Staff is super nice and the pride is right. Solid food and drink for the turn or to have a beer before heading home post round.
This is the only north woods course i have played but I don’t feel the need to go anywhere else.
Highly reccomend and even worth a decent drive if you are further away.
A little over priced

What a great day of golf👍 Excellent service from the staff. The course was in perfect condition fairways were plush and greens were smooth. Very hilly and scenic with lots of blind tee shots. I will definitely play there again. Great value
Fun, friendly & beautiful
Bass Lake is probably the best course in Northern Wisconsin. I wish I could play there as my primary course but it’s a bit of drive from where I live. I play there as often as I can & I have never been disappointed. The course is absolutely beautiful!
It’s beautiful every time I play there. The staff is always friendly & fun & very Accommodating. If you love to golf Bass Lake is a place that will not disappoint.

Little bit wet from all the rain the night before but didn’t affect the round at all.
