Lots of work to do
I played here a lot about 10 years ago and the return was an anticipated event. Sorry to say, the course was in disrepair with tee boxes closed or bare, fallen trees on the course and in Stevens Creek, and piles of wood chips and debris scattered about. The greens were in good shape, if slow and spongy. Some traps had been turned into sod bunkers and the course was generally easier than I remember it. It's still a fun little course to play but it could be a gem with some attention and investment.

Short 18 must play
If you need a taste of longer play from a 9 hole then this is the place to play. Course is awesome for improving your iron play. Be patient with customer service in the shop. It is definitely not a welcoming feeling walking into the shop. Perhaps if the shop moved most of the clutter at the registers we as paying golf enthusiasts would feel what hospitable is like.
Would not recommend
The pace of play was dreadfully slow. This 18 hole course is a par 60 and roughly 3000 yds. I played Saturday at 1:09 PM, it took 4.5 hours too finish.
Not worth it.
Wonderful golf course
Deep Cliff is a Bay Area gem! The staff is friendly and helpful. The course is walkable and so beautiful - from it’s granite cliffs to the babbling brooks and wildlife. It’s a wonderful break from the noise and stresses of life. Worth every penny!!
Beautiful, peaceful course
Deep Cliff is by far one of our Bay Area favorites. The staff is super helpful and friendly. The course is in good condition and while it is an executive course, it still has its challenges. Our favorite part is the wildlife and natural beauty of the course. We love the babbling brooks, falcons, deer, turtles,,ground squirrels, and cotton tail bunnies etc.. You really cannot beat it! Playing there is super grounding and good for the soul! And the second hole is their signature with the stunning granite backdrop.
Everything was in great condition except the tee boxes. They could use some leveling and TLC. It was hard to find a flat spot to tee off on almost every hole.

A lot of fun & friendly golfers... Course has some challenging holes & a great atmosphere. Nice place.

Good course to practice your short game. Many holes 100 yards or so in length.
