Great Short 18
Deep Cliff is a super golfer friendly course cut in the canyon. Short par 4s allow you to sharpen your woods game. Challenging iron useage.
Currently no food just beer on tap.
narrow
The course was not in great shape. All the tee boxes were out of place and shot. The front nine was kind of a mess: tee box and putting surfaces. The back was much better in terms of the grees being in good shape.
Not sure if I would play it again. This course is NOT set to use a driver.
Deep Cliff is afun course
Deep Cliff is a fun course.
Being a golfer who normally plays 18 hole course with 3-4 par 3;s made Deep Cliff an unusual course.
There were 6 holes over 200 yards, The rest were par 3's.
I really enjoyed the layout.
Fun course, quiet and challenging
Excellent course, tree lined with challenging approaches. Course is well maintained and greens are medium to med fast depending on sun exposure.
Quickly becoming a go to course for me.
Terrible Pace of play
Terrible pace of play. No Marshall to be seen and I had to sit on each tee box for 10-15 min at a time.
Great day
A great day with the mens club. This is a tough course for me but I enjoy getting out and giving it a go. Holes 6 and 7 always get in my head, and goes bad.
But another great day. The clubhouse staff were polite and professional.
I’ll be back next weekend to do it again!
Pace of Play
Greens were good. I always like this course. But the problem is the staff and marshal. People always try and skip ahead and that makes pace of play bad. We teed off at 12:52 and had a senior 4some tee off in front of us on the 10 hole(they started us on the 10 hole that day) at 12:40 and by the time we got to the 12 hole, that senior group bypassed 2 other groups. So the group teeing off on the 12th hole when walked up, started at 12:30, 20 min before us, yet they were just then teeing off in front of us. They should have been several holes ahead of us, but because that senior group skipped several groups, that put everyone else’s time at stake. That backed everyone else up. So later on, me and my friend had to skip several ‘open’ holes, I believe it was holes 4-7, to get to hole 8 and 9 so we could finish before dark. Terrible pace of place. They need to make sure to tell everyone and enforce that people don’t skip ahead. I paid for 18 holes, but was only able to play 14 due to that situation. It has happens several times. Marshals need to keep pace of place and rules enforced.
Horribly maintained course
First time playing here. This course had more dirt than healthy grass on it. One of the worst maintained courses with an above average price. Ended up being $54/person with the driest course conditions.
