Nice little course.
Deep Cliff us a nice little course. It's pretty short so you won't get to pull out your driver often, but is great for your mid and short game.
If you know why you’re coming to play then it’s fantastic
Don’t come here on the weekend expecting to play a round in under four hours because you’re waiting on each Teebox for beginning golfers who don’t know what they’re doing so come during the weekday morning preferably bring six clubs two wedges9,8, 7-iron -4 iron & putter and you will love the satisfaction of this quirky yet brilliant little design and It will in turn be kind to you as it’s made me fall in love with short game and the little nuances of golf
Get ready for a 4 hour round...
The weather was lovely and I was happy to be out with my husband and son but wow, the pace of play was unbearable. At three hours in and only 12 holes played, we finally just quit. We sat for 10+ minutes on every tee box and once we made the turn to hole 10, it was closer to 15 minutes on every tee box. It was 2-3 groups deep waiting at every hole and it seemed that there were people who lived nearby who cut in at the turn - many more people playing the back nine than the front. The course condition was pretty raggedy as well. I really wanted to like this course but unfortunately I can’t recommend it unless you book the very first tee time of the day
Great place
This is a great place to play. You don’t need to bring a driver,,, so I bring a extra wedge instead.
The greens we’re much faster than Santa Teresa when I played it.
But if you’re a good putter you can make some money here.
You will have plenty iron shots here . So if you’re not so good with your irons. It will make for some big numbers on the front 9.
Nice Short Course
This is a fun, short course. There are some par fours that are all less than 300 yards. The greens were in ok condition as they were aerated; they were also fast. It’s a relatively tight layout, which is part of the fun.
We did hit off some of the mats (like at driving ranges) in a number of holes as they had reseeded some of the tee boxes.
It’s a very good course to walk, too.
Look forward to playing there again.
Overall good.
Very crowded today. Because of Covid all the courses seem to be crowded.
Lovely course, accuracy needed
First time playing this course. I was on my own at 8am with no-one around so I got round in 2 1/2 hours playing off blues which my wife appreciated. The greens were in great nick and true albeit some of the fairways were muddy in places. The second hole had an alternative winter green and some of the holes had the tees moved forward significantly. Overall really enjoyed the round, with only minor marks off for the shorter than desired holes and muddiness.
Fun little course
This is an enjoyable course to work in your short game. The greens are in good condition, the fairways are, for the most part, good as well. I play here fairly frequently and always enjoy it.
Great foursome
I was going out as a single and I was joined by three other players from Half Moon Bay. All three Gentlemen were around my age 65-70 and we all had pretty good rounds, I said good not great, just good.
They were very friendly and we all seemed to have good time. This is the second time that I had the good fortune to paired with new people and enjoy the round.
I really like the course, being new to the game, I try to play twice a week just to get some practice in and I go to different golf courses just play and a round. I will definitely be back..
Punctuation is not a crime. But it is a great little course.
