Overall good.
Very crowded today. Because of Covid all the courses seem to be crowded.
The tee box mats ruin the experience
I’ve played Deep Cliff many times over the years, but this last visit was frustrating. More than half the tee boxes were on mats, making it nearly impossible to get a consistent setup or even tee the ball properly without short tees. For a $60 round, it felt more like practicing at a driving range and if I wanted to chunk shots on a mat, I’d just go to the range instead. I’ve always liked the course’s layout and setting, but the current conditions really take away from the experience.
Not worth the fee.
I was very surprised that I paid $12 more because I booked on GolfNow. From my very long membership with GolfNow, I never thought that was possible. Very disappointed!!

Deep Cliff is a must play for all golfers.
Great place for beginners. But awesome for the regulars.
Come out and play here. Well manicured course.
Enjoyed playing the course, particularly the back 9.
Good for a quick 18 with irons
Good course layout - could be very good with a little tweaking. Found there were some overhanging limbs that didn’t make sense from back pins.
Amazing Gem
My father and I are members at TPC courses in The Bay Area and Nevada and this had better taken care of greens than both our clubs. Such a fun layout, walkable, peaceful, interesting, beautiful. Can tell the greens crew take a lot of pride in their greens. The fairways and tee boxes, not as much, but overall, far exceeds expectations for price paid. Really highly recommend.
Best kept secret in the South Bay
I’ve been golfing at this golf course since 1990. It is one of the best kept secrets in the bay area. The staff is extremely friendly, very accommodating and the conditions are about as well as can be expected for a course that is hacked up by amateurs very picturesque and beautiful and every time I take a new Guest with me to play this course, they are blown away by how beautiful the setting of the golf course is And the layout absolutely love it and hope to see some improvements in the future in certain areas that I’m sure the golf course is well aware of thank you for keeping this place extremely playable year round !
