It’s amazing that this place has aggregate 4 stars. It is truly an example of an interesting layout that has been reclaimed by Mother Nature. Maybe a couple of township teenagers mow it once in a while?? I beg the township to sell it (cheap) to someone interested in owing and maintaining a golf course. If you sell it cheap, that new owner will have more money to put into the course, which could possibly even rescue your legacy. Please sell it....please? You don’t belong in this business.

Course layout was nice and challenging. The condition was terrible though. Fairways were burnt and ripped up. The greens were deplorable. Tons of black spots and lots of crabgrass on most of them. No rakes in the bunkers. Wasnt with the hour drive. Would be a nice course if the did better maintenance.

For the price, you can’t beat GolfNow. Some of the courses have a little to be desired, but the value is great. Covid has impacted course upkeep, but can’t beat the price.

A few years back, course conditions were good, greens rolled nicely with holes #5, #13 and #16 standing out as ones that would benefit from a renovation.

Today's course conditions, in a word, POOR. Most tee boxes were ok, but from there it was downhill. EVERY putting green was littered with unrepaired pitchmarks, 4 putting greens had extensive ground under repair (although not marked) with an entire quadrant of #13 UNPLAYABLE.

There was not a bunker on the golf course that was raked by golf course maintenance, with most having standing water...one has GREEN POND SCUM.

Given the limited options for public golf in Southern Chester County, it is unfortunate this Gil Hanse design has fallen so far.

We played this course last year and it was pretty decent. It's apparent they're letting it go now. All bunkers were rock hard and most were full of water. Rough was very high. Very few nice greens. Grass on the greens needed cut and rolled. Tee boxes were burnt out and beat up. All in all this place is in need of some serious TLC.

When booking this round the prompt made it seem like I was going to be paired up with a twosome or a threesome.

Ended up being sent out as a single. On a blazing hot Sunday. Among 6 or 7 foursomes.

Had to wait on every single shot After the 2nd hole. Left the course after 8 holes.

Just wish I knew I was going to be a standalone single ahead of time so I could’ve opted out beforehand.

I’m giving the course 2 stars because of the outdoor staff, the layout, and the golf carts. The outdoor staff was very cordial and polite. They offered to help and genuinely wanted to make the experience enjoyable. Gil Hanse designed a beautiful routing. Challenging shots off the tee and smallish greens. The golf carts were pretty new, clean and scooted nicely.

Now, course conditions were atrocious.The driving range and practice green should have been a warning of the course. The range looks as if it hasn’t had a mower on it in weeks. The practice green rolled around a 7-8 on the stimp meter. The tee boxes were burned out and hard as a rock except for #5, which was actually plush. The fairways had many burned out areas, which is weird since they seem to have a water treatment plant on the property (not a pleasant smell) and should have plenty of available water. There wasn’t a single bunker that had been touched by course staff. Sand is washed out, and what isn’t washed out is hard pan. Water pooling in some of them was green, covered in algae and foul smelling. The right fairway bunker on 2 was full of water and looked home to about 50-60 geese. The greens might be rolling at a 8.5 on the stimp. Very slow. I wouldn’t mind slow greens if they were healthy, filled in and roll pure. Way too many unfixed ball marks and too bumpy.

We ended up asking for a refund on the back nine as the shape of the course made it a bad experience. The pro shop manager asked why and I told him our thoughts on the conditions and he said that’s the first he heard of it. To his credit, he gave our threesome a refund for 9 holes. Seriously though... if he played the course recently he would know what I’m talking about.

Gil Hanse designed a gem that has come under total disrepair. We drove from Frederick MD and it’s not worth the drive. It’s not worth what they’re charging and they should be ashamed at what they’ve done to this track. The ownership should invest some money and turn this course into the gem it deserves to be.

Inniscrone has an interesting and challenging layout. Unfortunately the greens, sand traps and tee boxes are in generally poor condition. This seems to be accounted for in the price as this course is in general $15ish cheaper than comparable courses in the area which are in better shape for similar tee times.

This course used to be my favorite in the area, but now I don’t think I will be returning this season. Fairways were about the only thing decent. Greens were horrendous, so many unrepaired ball marks, and were so Inconsistent in speed. The rough grass hasn’t been cut in some time. Bunkers had just a thin layer of sand, and the tee boxes were so chewed up that it caused multiple lost balls due to our feet slipping on our swings. Idk where the maintenance has been but this course is lacking it currently which is a shame.

This was my first time playing this course and will definitely be back! The layout is challenging and hole placement is also! As everyone have mentioned you must hit it straight or you will lose a few balls. My favorite is the 10th and I left a few balls there. The staff is very nice and no problem if you want your owe cart. We will be back soon!

I played the course with my two sons and we found it to be very challenging. The tea set up is varied for all levels of skill, and the overall condition of the course is pretty good. The greens show somewhere, but that is to be expected with the level of play that the course has seen this year. The staff is extremely friendly and the views from most of the holes are worth the trip.

Course has a great layout with challenging and unique holes. The fairways are in good condition unfortunately they are the only part of the course in good condition. The bunkers should be considered ground under repair. They have very little sand left in them and some have even become ponds and it had not rained in 2 days. The tee boxes were in poor shape and the greens riddled with unrepaired ball marks. Would be a great course if it was in good condition.

Got it on a hot deal and it was 100% worth it. Tough course but fair.

This course has great possibilities but it needs more attention.
