Rivermoor Golf Club
About
Originally opened in 1929 as the Waterford Woods Golf Course, the club reemerged in 2008 as the Rivermoor Golf Club. Along with its new name, the club also revealed improvements to the playability and condition of the 18-hole course. The design of the golf course was largely determined by the scenic topography, which is covered with mature trees and dotted with ponds. There are also a few streams that meander across the landscape. Rivermoor Golf Club is a proud member of the Audubon Sanctuary System. Beyond providing a secluded setting and great scenery, the terrain also makes for a challenging round. The trees frame most of the holes and water hazards come into play on a few holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers with which to contend.

Very Enjoyable!!
For March Golf this place was in VERY good shape and can’t wait to play in the summer!
Always a challenge
It’s always nice especially the friendly staff, course played a little tougher than usual 32 degrees and windy
November golf
Golfing in Wisconsin on November 9th in 70 degree weather. How can you beat that. If I had to critique anything it would be the tee boxes need work and the fairways are just grass that is shaved short. $20 with a cart at this time of year would be about all it’s worth.
Very slow
It was a frustrating pace of play. We finished the front 9 and went to the back and the group we had been behind all day was on the tee, but there was a new group behind them waiting. I knew at that point we weren't going to finish the back 9 and would probably only get in another 4-5 holes before dark so I just quit.
If I lived in the Waterford area, I would play here without any problem, but it wasn't worth the 30 minute drive for me.
Although they did not have our GolfNow tee-time
We were scheduled GolfNow tee. time of 9:48AM. They did not have a 9:48 tee at all! ,But they were gracious enough to get us out at 9:52, after I paid $40!!! ,didn't I pay you $50? Without you issuing a refund, the 9 holes we played cost us $90! Since I am a senior on a fixed income, I won't be using GolfNow again!!!
Need a starter
Pace of play painfully slow. No starter and no ranger to keep moving. We were rained out on the 15th hole but were headed for a 5+ hour round.
Great conditions
Rivermoor had their greens in tip-top shape. For the price we paid, we'd come back in a heartbeat.
Shoes stayed dry
Course was in great shape for getting a lot of rain the day before.
Good value
I play this course 2-3 times a year. Always a good value. Many of the holes are tree-lined and appear narrow. A little intimidating if you're having issues with your drives. Water only comes into play on a couple of holes. All of the par 3s are challenging (and can cause some back-ups). Fairways were in good shape. A few greens were a little rough, but it's been a warm July in Wisconsin. Very nice bar, with outside deck.. Will probably play it a few more times this year.
