About
Originally opened in 1929 as the Waterford Woods Golf Course, the club reemerged in 2008 as the Rivermoor Golf Club. Along with its new name, the club also revealed improvements to the playability and condition of the 18-hole course. The design of the golf course was largely determined by the scenic topography, which is covered with mature trees and dotted with ponds. There are also a few streams that meander across the landscape. Rivermoor Golf Club is a proud member of the Audubon Sanctuary System. Beyond providing a secluded setting and great scenery, the terrain also makes for a challenging round. The trees frame most of the holes and water hazards come into play on a few holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers with which to contend.

Great Course for the Money
This is a fun course to play with a good layout and decent pace. Condition was good. Some interesting and challenging holes and greens. Definitely worth trying.
We picked a sunny day but with some wind in the
mid 40s. We played 9 holes and decided to quit

Slow and dry
I had heard good things about this course, so my brother and I decided to give it a try. The course was busy and we had a 1:36 tee time, there was no starter, no course rangers, the pace of play was excruciatingly slow. I will give them a pass on the course conditions seeing that there hasn't been a lot of rain since the floods in July , "although other courses in the area were in great shape because they actually had watered them ". The course layout can be can confusing as you criss cross many holes and the people in front of us were not just slow, but did not repair any of their ball marks on the greens.At the end of the day my brother and I decided that we probably would not return.
Very nice 1920's course
Very friendly staff. Nice 1920s layout. Definitely would go back to play again. Would be worth your trip there to play.

It was very slow and people were jumping over without maintaining the atiqette. There was no ranger who controls the pace.
Perfect course
Played this after a massive rain storm in Burlington. Course was in great shape and we had a fun time being paired with two other people.
Great gem
Some of the holes are quite a challenge, especially for someone that cannot hit the green in regulation. It is a lovely course and a person can always learn from their mistakes. The staff is wonderful. Grounds are in great shape, so there goes that excuse. Enjoy, I did.
Nice course, tough greems
Played this course a few time last year and enjoyed it, first time this year
Narrow fairways and small greens. If you are accurate you can score well, if you are long (or not) but not down the middle you are often in trouble.
Greens were very hard and fast, very difficult to hold and putt. Like putting on concrete.
Will play again if I get the opportunity.
