Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pa. is considered one of Berks County's finest courses with a four-star rating from Golf Digest, which also named it as one of the top "Places to Play." It was voted the "Best Public Course" by readers of Berks County Magazine. Designed by local architect Jim Blaukovitch, the golf course has a classic design that appeals to players of all skill levels. The course has wide, inviting fairways but there are also some challenges provided by the rolling terrain, featuring elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Be prepared for a variety of uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies. Trees line Golden Oaks Golf Club's fairways and strategically placed bunkers protect the greensides. The golf course has some tricky holes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

Great value for the money.
Play here Father's day weekend . First time here really enjoyed the round despite the 25 to 35 mph wind gust the was Throughout the whole round. For 59 bucks on a Saturday 18 holes and a bucket of balls included in the price I'm in . The only flaw I found here were the bunckers need sand also a lot of stones a rocks were in there to but all said a very nice layout I will be back there when I'm back in the area.

MOST OF THE BUNKERS NEEDED ALOT OF WORK. THE GREENS WERE FAST BUT IN GREAT CONDITION.STAFF VERY FRIENDLY. NEED A RANGER TO SPEED UP PLAY

The course could use some rangers, but otherwise it was all I could ask for.
Hidden Gem
I played here yesterday as part of a group that plays various courses in the area. While a little further out from the Philadelphia area, this course was certainly worth the extra 20 minutes drive. A cart attendant loaded my bags onto a cart just like a private course. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
The tea boxes were in very good shape, the fairways were well groomed and the greens, the tricky were in excellent shape. There is a fair variety of bunkers and water hazards. There is an excellent layout overall. I also found this to be an exceptional value, as I believe this was formally a private course and it shows. There is a very nice restaurant with a decent menu with a balcony overlooking the 18th green. Overall an excellent experience. I would definitely return and recommend this to anyone in the area seeking challenging golf At a reasonable price.

Course is in great shape love the layout, staff people are very friendly and helpful great food after round pro shop staff exceptional . Recommend it to everyone
Fast Greens and Good Architecture
Greens had been punched and rolled this week so they were fast but the holes did not allow balls to stay on line. A tough combination, but I know it is only temporary. Pace of play issues were partner and green related as opposed to course management. Great course, always enjoy the challenge and the Golden Oaks experience.

Course is always in great shape. Greens are quick . Always well manicured. If you havent played Golden Oaks you should book it now.
