Golden Oaks Golf Club
About
Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pa. is considered one of Berks County's finest courses with a four-star rating from Golf Digest, which also named it as one of the top "Places to Play." It was voted the "Best Public Course" by readers of Berks County Magazine. Designed by local architect Jim Blaukovitch, the golf course has a classic design that appeals to players of all skill levels. The course has wide, inviting fairways but there are also some challenges provided by the rolling terrain, featuring elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Be prepared for a variety of uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies. Trees line Golden Oaks Golf Club's fairways and strategically placed bunkers protect the greensides. The golf course has some tricky holes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

Great course and value
Cart path only today completely understandable greens were impressively fast based on the rain
Wet
Really nice course, loved the greens. Only issue was how wet it was from the storms. It was cart path only which made it a little longer day than it otherwise would have been.
Great Course!!
The course is in fantastic shape for the price! Greens are very receptive and fairways are are in great shape. The scorecard was a huge help for me especially playing this course for the first time.
Great Time
Course was in great shape and we enjoyed the round. Hot and muggy but they kept you hydrated. Wish I lived a little closer
Still love playing there
Love this course. It is a fair test and greens roll true and are very consistent. Marshall is needed as we waited on every shot for every hole so a Ranger and pace of play was a big issue for a tee time after 4 PM.
Sand could have been in better shape and more consistent and other than that it is in very good shape for time of year and the lack of rain in periods this summer.
Great value! Totally worth the drive from Hershey.
Great course
Course was in fantastic shape. Greens rolled true. Staff was nice.
Great course and value
Shhhhhh don't tell anyone but this is a fantastic course at a fair price. The greens are fast and true and course condition is high end private country club like
Great conditions except for sand and they just got hammered with a lot of rain overnight.
Conditions great. Love coming to this course - shame it is that far away from Hershey. Great greens rolling true and fair and fast without being glass. Fair test with varied holes and good pace of play.
Check in people are all very nice. Pin placement 9 was tough on some holes. Gotta get more guys that I normally golf with up there.
Great Day.
The course is in great shape. Greens are fast. Fairways are in good shape. Course is on the long side, but fair. Not too tight.
Nice people working there. Great atmosphere. All around, a very nice course. Will definitely be back.
Great Course!
Found this gem on an app and didn’t know what to expect. I B was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful and challenging but forgiving course. Greens and grounds were in great shape and a good value! I will be returning to play this course. Worth the 40 minute drive.
Best course within 30 mile radius...truly!!!
I've always loved playing Golden Oaks! The layout is so fantastic, interesting, open, but challenging, and fair! The rates are very fair and competitive, and you can play fast in the morning or late evening! As is typical of almost any course, the late morning and afternoon can be slow on pace, but we know that's because of the influx of inexperienced players liking to play at those times. You should definitely play Golden Oaks if you get the chance!
As Good As It Gets
Golden Oaks is as good as any track you'll find in the area. It can play from 5,100 to 7,100 yards, which makes it a good test for any skill level.
The conditions after terrific and to the hoofers like me, it *is* walkable but I wouldn't recommend it unless you're in reasonable shape.
