Golden Oaks Golf Club
About
Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pa. is considered one of Berks County's finest courses with a four-star rating from Golf Digest, which also named it as one of the top "Places to Play." It was voted the "Best Public Course" by readers of Berks County Magazine. Designed by local architect Jim Blaukovitch, the golf course has a classic design that appeals to players of all skill levels. The course has wide, inviting fairways but there are also some challenges provided by the rolling terrain, featuring elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Be prepared for a variety of uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies. Trees line Golden Oaks Golf Club's fairways and strategically placed bunkers protect the greensides. The golf course has some tricky holes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

MUST PLAY
this course is absolutely fantastic the fuse the conditions the layout everything about it is great! I play at least 3 to 4 times a year at Golden Oaks even though I live 60 plus miles away.can't wait to get back again
Very pleased
I had a wonderful day at Golden Oaks. Paid only $26 at 1146 as a Hot Deal on a Saturday. Even though it has been very dry the course was in great shape. The greens were smooth and fast. Better then Saucon Valley CC where I played today. The Staff was so flexible. They were happy to move our tee time earlier so we could play with friends. Starter treated us with kindness and respect. All in all a perfect day at a great price
windy course
the course was really nice and everthing about it was great but the wind was really blowing and on this course you can really get hurt , the rough was really hard to get out of but the course was really great would do it agin without the wind.
golden oaks top 10 pa course
Played many pa courses golden oaks ranks in top 10 in my opinion...always in good shape...great layout...wonderful finishing holes on both nines
Winter Golf
Course was great considering 2 previous days of rain. Tee off temp was 36°. We had a great day of play.
worth the money
Golden Oaks is a pleasing course in every way. Many challenges, great course design, and the price was awesome.
This course was in great shape
Had a great time with people, they paired me with.
Nice country course
We decided to play this course as we were travelling in the area.
It is a great course with a few difficult holes with the wind blowing as it was on Sat the 25th of Oct?
Overall the course is a good test of golf.
Our only complaint was the slow pace of play!
Great value
Wish it were closer to my house. Will play again. Awesome layout.
Play one of the best.
Excellent course, with no two holes being similar. A challanging course that plays a little longer than the yardages indicate, but is playable for most all by being realistic with your "tee choices". Greens are faster then even most other upscale public courses. Can be pricey, especially on weekends in season, but deals can be found. Between the course and the restaurant and the bar the drive is worth it if you are a distance awqy.
Worth the travel time
Coming from NJ (1:20 minutes) I try to get a good deal on Golf Now to cover the cost of gas.
With that said I always enjoy the course.
I was paired with another senior and we had a terrific
time.
Pace was good (3.5 hours) and the weather was perfect. I usually play black but we played silver and my score was not any better. Still need to chip and putt well to score. Had 5 or 6 pars which is my norm. Course is fairly open and the tight holes are shorter from the silver so I used a four iron instead of my driver and kept it in play.
Great place to Play
The staff is always friendly and the course is always in great shape. It's a hidden Gem
Wide open
First time here. I can see why people like it, fairways are wide open and I used driver on every hole except for the par 3's. It isn't a very difficult course. Ther was no beverage cart which is a downfall. Overall it was a relaxing place to play. Would've liked to use more of the clubs I have in my bag. The par 4's seem very long, but being the first time there could've been club selection on 2nd shot.
excllent track
had a perfect golf day the course was in excellent shape ,the greens were fast and true .the only problem is golfers are not repairing ball marks come on man take a minute and repair them its realy hurting the greens. other then that excellent. its a must play.
Nice course.
Would happily play here again without a second thought.
Scenic Tree lined Day in the Country
Developer did a beautiful job of keeping housing well off course. Thought it played like an old time pre-developer course with beautiful vistas. Golden Oaks true to name - tree lined. I played the championship tees - 6700 yards - gold at this course and it played long because most holes played up hill. Par 3's looked benign but with well manicured faster than normal greens and a little wind they were very challenging.
Great course
This is an excellent course to play. The greens were the fastest I have played all year.
Friendly course, although can play tough if you play the very back tees
This course is designed to get people around in a friendly way. Greens are large and mostly flat, easy to hit. Fairways are wide, with not a lot of trouble. The par-3s are tough, especially from the back tees. You do have to hit over water 3 times, twice on par 3 holes, but other than that, its very unlikely you'll lose your ball. It can be a bit bland to start with a lot of holes are similar to each other, but the course finishes well, 14-18 are all fun and interesting holes.
