Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pa. is considered one of Berks County's finest courses with a four-star rating from Golf Digest, which also named it as one of the top "Places to Play." It was voted the "Best Public Course" by readers of Berks County Magazine. Designed by local architect Jim Blaukovitch, the golf course has a classic design that appeals to players of all skill levels. The course has wide, inviting fairways but there are also some challenges provided by the rolling terrain, featuring elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Be prepared for a variety of uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies. Trees line Golden Oaks Golf Club's fairways and strategically placed bunkers protect the greensides. The golf course has some tricky holes but it's not overly punishing for the high handicapper.

Beautiful but overbooked and stressful
The course is beautiful and challenging. The course was overbooked and the master was all over us about pace of play, the tees we were hitting from. Made the round completely rushed and stressful when we weren’t even playing that slow. Ruined the whole outing for us.
I would not recommend this course to anyone but scratch golfers that like to get the round over with as fast as possible. If you have any type of handicap or like to enjoy yourself, go somewhere else. What a shame to have a bad experience, lots of potential here!
Worth the trip
Haven’t played there in a few years . Course was better than I remembered. One of the best public courses near the Lehigh Valley!!!
Always in Good Shape and Fun to Play
Golden Oaks has great golf architecture, fast greens, and good pacing with 10 minute tee times. Always fun to play without being overly difficult. The final 4 holes are as good a set of finishing holes that you will find in a public course in the area.

Excellent course couldn't be any better. The only thing missing is a marshall, so that the pace of play would be quicker.

Great weather. Great course. Friendly staff. And outside deck with great food and after round beverages. Lobe this layout and the challenges afforded by multiple tee boxes should meet everyone’s needs. My only issue is some of the traps need sand as the bottom was more of a dirt floor than sand. But this will not deter my wife and I from returning.
