The staff, especially the very tall young man with glasses is always welcoming, polite and smiling on check in. As usual the course is very well kept. make sure to bring your sand wedge as you will likely land in a few of the 160 sand traps. The greens are always a challenge as they have slants and rolls as you never seem to find a flat area near the pin. The only negative part of the course are the greens as they are hard and you they generally do not hold a nice drive, as the ball either bounces or rolls off the green. Otherwise the course is well maintained.

A well maintained course, plenty of challenging holes, lots of water and sand hazards.

This is one of the best golf course I have ever tried. The course pretty difficult but very nicely and very well maintained. This course was ranked the hardest course in the state. I love it

They removed the gps from the carts, and their distances on the course are inaccurate

Course was as expected but the Manager John questioned how I was able to get cart keys without a receipt. I advised the starter cave them to me. John basically accused me of trying to walk on without paying when this was prepaid had he taken the time to check his computer.

I will NEVER go back there to play an average course with a rude staff.

Overall fun to play. Challenging layout with multiplle sets of tees to fit your ability. Greens were rolling really nice. Sand in bunkers is getting better. Some are under repair and were marked as such.

This is a very good golf course and it is run by Billy Casper Golf for the county, just south of Chicago

Lots of sand, force carry over water with fast undulating greens. bring your best game and you will not be disappointed. Got a great price off of Golf Now!

Nice course but peanut shape greens are not so a good choice!

This course looks like a golf course is supposed to look - no houses to be seen anywhere, very few adjacent fairways, etc. The layout looks benign, so wide open. But it is deceptive. Numerous traps strategically located (if you're on the right set of tees) comes into play if you don't position the ball well to come in at the right angle. Big greens, big traps. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition, although the greens were super slow, which offset some of the positives about the course. But I do understand having to offset green playablility with maintenance. But still, nice!

This course very good .'ll hopefully as soon as possible replay this course. Fairway condition is very good and staff is very friendly. So this course improve your skills

I'm sure that golf outings help the bottom line of any golf facility, but to have one on a Saturday afternoon when most regular golfers can fit in a round of golf, is inconsiderate to the average golfer.

There were holes in the fairway of just mud where all the grass washed away from puddles sitting to long and the bunkers had no sand, never takes.

Course coming back into shape but nothing like it was when it opened. Pace of play was good after a late start

Fairways and green were ok but the sand traps were not raked and nobody was even working on them. There was minimal rain yesterday and some had puddles in them....but there is a lot of sand on this course and it would have been nice if one of them was ready for play....no, not one was ready......and no effort by this course to remedy. Highly recommend that out find another course to play....this one is not ready to play golf on.....too bad because the layout is pretty good......it will be a long time before I waste my money here again.

Terrific course and staff. Blow up a few of the traps and put sand in them and it.would be great
