Greens need help
The course overall was in average condition at most. The greens however need lots of work, bumpy, not even cut same height , patchy they look like a quilt. If you made a put it was luck
Fun round on a Monday
Nice weather, fun round. People behind us kept hitting into us with no one behind them, we were quicker and they never called their near hit fores... Don't be shy boys call your s*** shots.
Poor shape
The course is ok because it’s winter , but the greens are in poor shape and difficult to putt
The Worst Golf Course in LA, OC and Riverside Counties
I've played for the first time in my life but won't come here again due to the following reasons:
Firstly, the course layout is zero intriguing, i.e., no memorable holes at all.
Secondly, the course condition in the fairway and greens (except the 17th hole green) are so bumpy that there's no hope for improvement.
Thirdly, the driving range is not for warm-up and/or honing golf skills but just for hitting balls. There are just small buckets not big enough to contain medium balls.
Last but not least, holes are so close to each other that you MUST be on the full alert for errant balls coming from next holes.
All the golf courses have been good to me no matter what score I make until I play at this course. This is the first course I do NOT want to play again. No adrenaline pumping course.
Nice layout, conditions could be better
I have never played here. The layout and routing is pretty good. I don't have overly high expectations for a perfect course conditions, but I do expect the greens to be good. The greens were poor. But it was an interesting course and for the money it was OK. If the course was in very good shape I would enjoy playing it.
Excellent pace of play, good condition
Course not in it's best shape, but still very enjoyable. I used "winter rules" a couple times when my ball ended up in a funky lie in the fairway.
The pace of play was excellent. Finished in just over 4 hours. Very pleased. Good price. Good course to walk.
Nice Layout. Rough greens.
Being a public course it’s never really in tip top shape.
The greens are typically the nicest part of the course but unfortunately from all the play they are getting they are in pretty rough shape right now.
Whatever
From the pictures provided I thought this course would be nice as well kept. That was not the case as the “fairways” were not even good having to swing from all sorts of debris, and uneven grasses. Greens and fringes were ok, but that’s about it. Course doesn’t look to be well kept, so if you want to get more value for your money you’re better off going to Rio Hondo which is a few minutes from Los Amigos.
Fairly good for winter
The fairways have some bare spots but overall good shape for winter ball. The greens were a little disappointing with their bumpiness. Pace of play was decent (4 hrs). The course is normally an easy one but todays score was not to standard ;-)
