Golfer Reviews
Nice course but slow play
Decided to try this course again after encountering a six hour round in November! Things haven’t improved in that regard! Five plus hours in mid-day on a Tuesday is not acceptable! The course is enjoyable but the pace of play is really bad!
Pleasantly surprised
I have heard of this course for years, but never tried it. I had a last minute chance to play and found a hot deal on Golf Now.
The Masters was going on, so it was light for a Sunday. The practice areas were in good shape.
The pro shop, cafe, and bar were very nice and clean. Staff was friendly.
The course layout was fun, some doglegs, little bit of water on the back nine, and the green complexes had plenty of undulations. The greens had been aerated and sanded. They were slow and a bit bumpy, but should be nice very soon.
I will be back soon!
Greens are aerated, as of April 1
No heads up when booking that the greens had been aerated, show up and while I'm swiping my card they tell me. If I decided not to play because of that I was told I would be charged anyway due to the 24hr cancelation. I am not happy. Most other courses have warnings that they aerated before you book. I asked if there would be a discount for the lack of communicating this info and they said no. I would not have booked here if I knew this info. I won't be returning.
Divot tools.
People need to repair their divots!!! Bumpy greens.
Needs Work
Pace of play is awful,,They let out too many groups of five ..Tee boxes fairways and greens are a mess to inconsistent,$45 green fees are way too much for this place won’t be back till things get better ..
Senior course
A lot of elderly golfers, walking, which makes for slower play. Little over 4 1/2 hours. Fairways were firm but greens were excellent for this time of year. No one observes hitting up on Par Three's even when signs are posted to speed up play.
Slow play
It took us 1 hour to get thru the first 3 holes. Pace picked up eventually. The ground in all tee boxes were so hard, broke several tees trying to tee up. The greens were very bumpy and hard. Good crowd in the bar. Staff members were some what rude.
Beautiful Sunrise
If you are golfing in LA beware of all the City and County courses putting out 5somes over and over again.....its their idea of maximizing the tee sheet. If you are stuck behind certain groups this will ruin your experience so get out early and often. This golf course has a fun and open design. Great County course for the price and very nice walk.
Good Course in good condition
Although the course is very short for me I enjoyed it. I was there to work on my short irons and putting and this course was perfect. You can also work on your Tee Ball but if you can hit it far it will probably be a rescue or 3 wood. Course also has practice area and driving range.
good day
Had not played for three weeks because of flu. On again off again with game. Because of rain traps were hard. Greens very bumpy because they haven't fully healed. Missed five birdies inside of twelve feet but made 40 footer from off green for bogie.
