Los Amigos Country Club

Over all we had a good time lot of waiting long day. The course it self was in good shape green was nice!!!!But as you know dame people don't fix the divots sad or rake the sand. Will return:].

As soon as the sand bunkers are completed it will be a beautiful golf course Fairways and greens are great and the water lakes are beautiful.

Because of the improvements being made, this course will be a much better golf course than Rio, down the street. This will be my new home course. I love the way its laid out, and the bunkers are a great addition.

greens a little bumpy but for the price great value

The new ownership of this course has really made a difference. This course used to be one of the worst conditioned in the area, but, thanks to aggressive efforts to trim or remove overgrown trees, Los Amigos has really become more lush and green. From tee to green, the course condition is equal to most of the L.A. County courses. Most of the tee boxes are adequate, while some still need attention. The greens are slow to medium speed, but lush enough to be speedier if cut a little closer. As for the layout, it is fun and interesting. The par fives are reachable, the par fours are short to medium, and the par threes range from short iron to a three-wood. The terrain is flat and very easy to walk. If you haven't played here in a while, give it another chance.

in overall the course is in good shape. Unfortunately players seem not to fix the pitching marks after the hit the green, but this is not a problem of the course owners. I hope n general players care about their mark would make life easier for all.

Course is in good shape. Plenty of dog leg holes. Slower pace due to Friday afternoon time. Overall, I enjoyed the course and would recommend it to others

The starter and staff around are very polite, and cordial. First time playing the course and my friends and I were very happy to take the day off to play at Los Amigos. Very challenging greens, that makes your approach shot, think about.

It was one of the worst first 9th holes. Green was ugly and there were no ball cleaning water and towels throughout the course. However it was very nice green condition and design combined with several water hazzards for the last 9th holes.

I came across Los Amigos for a last minute tee time. Read some reviews and heard that this course was less than memorable in the past. With the new ownership, the course apparently has done a complete 180. I like the course, although it's currently being remodeled to an extent. There were a lot of chopped trees and trucks on the course. Only downside on my round, was the Korean fivesome ahead of me and my group. Talk about SLOW play. No courtesy to let us play through, just them living in their own world, oblivious to their surroundings. At most, my four hour round went over five hours. SLOW players, especially on a Wednesday, throws me off. Good course, great staff, but there needs to be a way to speed up play. Are fivesomes still allowed?

Course was not in the best of shape, but really liked the pace of play (just under 4 hours) and the staff was friendly. Overall it was a good round for the price. The clubhouse was undergoing some renovations and they didn't have a starter or marshal, but it was a Monday morning and we were able to tee off right around our 8:17 am tee time with only minimal waiting on most of the holes.

I had a great time. The management are really trying to get the place in tip top shape. They had a driving range, chipping range, and practice putting greens. Would like to see a practice bunker.

Other than there being a temporary green for #9 the work that is being done will greatly improve the quality of play. This is an amateur course and should play like one, and I believe it's taking shape to do just that. The roughs are under control now which absolutely speeds up play.

Speed of play was fine, course condition very poor. Temporary green on 9th hole, tee boxes need a lot of attention. very typical for county course. do not recommend!!!

course was in good condition and we enjoyed the round which included a hole in one on the 17th hole by me

For value this is a good buy. The course is being worked on now. By the summer all repairs should be completed.

the course has good layout just needs better green not smooth at all to many bumps
