Challenging course.
Challenging course and interesting layout. Course conditions are not very good. Still had a fun day. Also, oddly there is not a single sand trap on this course.
Had a great time
Course was very maintained greens had been aerated other wise would have given 5 stars
Needs improvement
Have played here in the past, been 3 or 4 years ago. Was dissapointed in the condition of the fairways and greens. The front nine played like a poorly maintained muny. I love the layout of the course and thankfully the back nine was in much better shape, like playing a different course. would recommend but w reservations
Fun little track!
I've played here twice and enjoyed both rounds! The greens, fairways and tee boxes are average but is a fun course to play! Decent challenge from the blues... For the value, it's a good course to play! Especially if you can find a hot deal!!!
Rough greens
I booked my tee time on golf now for 10 dollars so I cannot complain about the value for the money. The greens were awful it caused my score to go up at least 5 strokes. The fairways were in good condition. The course is very easy and would be a good course for beginners.
Worst I have Seen
Our group wanted to try the course this year. Worse shape I have ever seen a course. I wouldn't play this course if they didn't charge me anything. I total waste of the $32.00 green fee.
The greens were patchy and bumped. They didn't roll. The teeing ground was weeds and need cut down. The fairways were also high and needed to be mowed.
We left after 7 holes. The course was disgusting.
Total waste.
I know some course had a bad hit this winter in Tennessee....but this place was ridiculous.
Nice Layout
It was poorly marked in getting to the Pro Shop and the staff was not real helpful. The course was laid out nicely with some challenging holes that you could not see where to hit over the tops of some hills. The fairways were not bad, but the greens need some work as the ball marks were numerous and have not been worked on very well so putting was difficult on many of the holes. A couple of holes had very narrow places to hit which made driving a challenge. Overall not great, but kind of expensive for the shape the course was in at this time.
Good value and fun to play
This course is a lot of fun. the greens are small but in good shape. Fairways and tee boxes are bit rough but very playable. Pace of play was fabulous for a Sunday morning tee time. 18 holes in 3.25 hours! With the Golf Now special price I was extremely happy.
The course has several blind shots
The staff was great, the course had several blind shots and blind slopes and for the first time playing the course made it difficult. After playing a couple of times, it would be more fun. The condition was ok, several greens were a little burned. The course had very little rough or sand so pace of play was good.
Quiet and relaxing
Although I played terrible it was a nice quiet relaxing day on the course.
Worth a shot
This course has many rolling hills and some greens and fairways are kind of blind. This grass in the fairways was spotty, and the greens were just average. Hole number 2 is very challenging as previous mentioned. I did enjoy the course, but the dry weather has hurt their fairways.
Good for the $$
Nice course. Greens were a bit spotty, fairways had a bit of crab grass that had come in. Layout was wonderful, different elevations, used every club in the bag.
Not a must play
I came from out of town to visit in Nashville area and decided to play a round of golf. Checked golf now, booked $18.00 rate, drove 30 minutes to course. The fairways were as high as most rough on some courses but the greens were not very bad, just a little slow in speed. Had some difficult holes like number 2 with severe slope and par three across water that distance did not seem correct even with GPS. Would be a fun course to play with a lot more attention to detail on mowing.
Great greens fairways rough
The fairways were thick as a first cut of rough and greens were slow (but in good shape).I thoroughly enjoyed the course however because I had to think about my shots. Hole 2 quite frankly is one of the most difficult par 5's in Nashville, but the fairway is shot (just move your ball to a decent spot). The greens were very tricky and the course has a lot of hills, doglegs, and quite goofy in areas. If you need a place to play for inexpensive and just to have fun, play this course. I am a single digit handicap and enjoyed the course. If you are a spoiled snob 10-20 handicapper wanting to bash a local course, don't play here, there are plenty of courses to pay $30-$40 on Golf Now - the reviews I read irritated me after playing the course.
Goat track
The fact that I had never heard of the course and the poor reviews I knew what I was in for..I was in a crunch for a tee time and bit on the $10 special. The layout is promising but the course is in poor shape. The fairways are like wild fields that have been trimmed down that give you a 90% chance of finding your ball. The tee boxes are not any better, the blues are covered in tall grass. Surprisingly the greens rolled well and offered a challenging approach shot. They are small and in some cases require a blind shot due. Manicure this thing and you have a gem of a course, until then no thanks not even for $10.
Really enjoy playing this course
Great value for the money, close to home, grass needed mowing but it has rained a lot. Will definitely play again.
Goat Farm
Course was in bad shape. Lots of erosion leaving bare spots. Lost 2 balls in the fairway due to so much clover with the little white flowers. Paid for 18 but left after 9 because I was so upset at the conditions.
Good value
The tee boxes are in bad shape. Sod isn't very expensive. No beverage cart was available on the course. Some of the greens were in so-so condition.
great layout, poorly maintained
I came from out of town, so this was my first time playing here, fairways were rough to say the least, rough was not much better, my partner and I were discussing what a great layout the course had, lots of rolling hills and tricky shots; had it been maintained better this course would be great, but we had a good time.
