Bad shape
The people who run the course are super nice and the 2 guys we played with were great to play with.
The course conditions were terrible. The holes were poor marked and hard to follow. Many time people were hitting into you because the layout was hard to follow. The fairways were in terrible shape muddy and dead. The greens were in great shape but the pin position for winter golf were atrocious....
fun, challenging g ing course!
Though we golfed in February, we had a great time here. The course layout is challenging but enjoyable and I imagine quite beautiful in every season. The staff was super-friendly and the winter rates were great. I can't wait to go back in nicer weather!
fun!
fun, interesting, challenging course. cart path only due to the previous rains and time of the year.. imagine it to be beautiful when green.
Every time I play here, less & less worth it.
I understand dead grass on courses this time of year, but this is just embarrassing. It's pure mud the entire track. No money spent on maintaining even the slightest. Hole #5 par 3 is just closed. Muni's are in much better condition, play there instead.
Loosen up
Course ground at fairways and T boxes are extremely compacted such that taking a divit or inserting a T (for driving) are almost impossible. Granted, hard fairways will add to increased driving distances (as do hitting cart paths) but overall this is very uncomfortable.
No grass
Nice people, some nice holes, too bad there id NO grass on a lot of the golf course
Unique course. I live in New Orleans and have never played a hilly course. It was fun.
Never again
Entire first fairway is dirt. Hit a perfect drive and you’re basically hitting off of sand/dirt. Same thing on 4. Course has so much potential but it seems like they have zero maintenance crew. Greens felt like they hadn’t been cut in over a week
Goat Track
Played on a Saturday morning at 9:30 and had to wait on every hole. The layout is different and is a short 5400 yard par 70. Back 9 is better than the front its just more interesting. Course is not in good condition and has many bald spots. The ground is very hard and there is no chance of getting under balls to chip around greens.
Ranger asked us to speed up
The ranger asked us to speed our game up after we had stood and waited for the foursome in front of us to get off the green. They are greedy and are putting tee times too close together.
Course is short and pace was slow
Fine place to go out and play, but images and price online lead you to believe it’s a bit better than actual.
Staff are friendly and great, lots of good conversations. Ranger could have helped speed up whatever group ahead that had us waiting up to 15 minutes on each tee box.
Plays at 5500 from tips, no need for driver on Par 5 18th.
Super friendly staff, fun layout, highly recommend! Outside of 3 fairways, the course is truly in great shape, and the value is one of the best around Nashville! Can’t wait to come back and try it again!
Nice greens. That’s it
Courses tee boxes are literally just hitting off of the grass next to designated tee box on the front. Pace of play was absolute trash and Marshall is actually the starter and nothing more. Course is full of rude and aggressive people thinking they’re playing at a private course.
