Waikoloa Village Golf Club

I’ve played this course several times. Staff are always friendly, course is usually in good shape and pace is generally 4 hours or less. This time I had an 8:06 tee time and played in 3.5 hours with a gentleman that was local. It’s been a joy every time I go and definitely best bang for your buck in the area.

This is a great, affordable Big Island golfing option. There is a lot to like about the course as it is in great shape with good amenities. The fairway grass is quite long so the course plays longer, sometimes much longer than the yardage. I also found, for whatever reason, that I needed one more club than the yardage indicated on my approach shots as the uphills were steeper than they looked in many cases. The greens are well protected with pea gravel bunkers so it's a good test.

Fun course w/ forgiving wide fairways. Pace of play was like any other course now days.

Some rough spots in the fairways. No sand, just crushed stone in the traps. Otherwise good condition and layout. Friendly staff and good pace of play for large number of players. Enjoyed playing and would recommend others to play.

I missed last year, I was extremely impressed by the improvements that were made in the past year. Fun course to play, great practice areas, improved bunkers.

Waikoloa Village Course is a great course and a great value. It is forgiving with wide fairways but still challenging, especially the par 3's. It was raining when we started and the course was practically empty, but the rain quit after three holes and we pretty much had the course to ourselves. It was great!
