The Legends at Orange Lake Resort
About
Orange Lake Resort & Country Club in Kissimmee boasts four different golf courses, two championship courses and two nine-hole layouts. Undoubtedly, the most popular course is the Legends. This Arnold Palmer-designed layout is like getting two courses in one. The front nine is a traditional links that is wide-open and windy, which makes club selection particularly challenging. It is a good warm-up for the even more demanding back nine. On the backside, you will be playing through mature oaks and towering pine trees that border the lush, winding fairways. It is quite a feat to successfully maneuver your tee shots through the narrow openings of the trees, which gives it the feel of a course in North Carolina. The signature hole is the 13th. This daunting hole features a large green that is shielded by a rock wall, surrounded by tall grass, and protected in back by a sand trap.

A good find near WDW
Had a good time from beginning to end. Staff was friendly and helpful. Round time was a little slow due to Spring Break week crowds. Course was in great conditions. Lost a couple balls on shots where a hazard was not obvious from my shot location. Overall, a good place to play.
Snooty
Staff refused to make change. Said they had no cash. Greens hadn't been cut or rolled for god knows how long. There must have been a fifteen foot circle of lumpy ground surrounding each hole. Seven dollars for a bucket of 30 range balls.
Course is in good condition
Front 9 appear easy but games in back nine, first time players will have some experience, go and play.
March Break
I was on vacation with family and only got to play one round of golf. I was happy to say the day was perfect. 72 sunny light breeze and the grass was in good shape. Greens were true and quick. Staff were friendly except the cart girl didn't seem to be too happy. Just drove around and didn't really seem to want any business. Good thing I brought my own beer. Some very pretty holes with gators in most ponds added to the enjoyment. Thank you to the nice lad that cleaned my clubs and drove my in the golf cart over to my family at the near by pool. Hope to play again next year.

A well maintained course
Great course and good value for your money. Pace of play was good. We teed off right on time and the marshal kept the pace of play moving.
Enjoyed the round.
Average Rating
The fairways were patchy, the greens had inconsistent speed. Some greens were not mowed, and there was sand on several greens (top dressed?)
The pace of play was good, and the on course beverage sever came by frequently and was very available and friendly.
For a premium course at a premium price, I expected more.
Great Layout!
this is my first time playing this course, played the reserve course a couple of years ago. I preferred the Legends course because of its length and quality of the course.
playing in early am, I found no pace of play issues.
range should be included for the price you pay here to play.
A very nice resort course
This course is very nice, a challenge, but playable. Very nice condition, but the greens were a touch slow. Played the white tees once and later the blues. Leave time to get there. When GPS says you've arrived, there is still another 10 minutes or so to go.
Orange Lake
One of my favorites to play in Orlando. Had an early start time so pace was a breeze. Only thing that bothered me was the Course Expert trying to hurry us along when our cart was near dead and according to our GPS we were 22 minutes ahead of pace.
nice layout
Nice course but greens were slow...they charge for range balls which is bush for the money they charge.
Nice but slow.
Very nice course and conveniance, but with slow pace of play and no player asisistant (ranger) to help the speed.
Very friendly & accommodating. Course condition good shape
Very friendly & accommodating. Course condition good shape.
Clean, manicured we enjoyed our round.
Had some beer on the back that was warm. Staff stated they ran out of our brand.
great conditin
love the course and will play other time.
we are out town gust, but for sure well surprised with cours
Nice
Had a good time.
GPS is a must as some blind water holes !
Beautiful course
Very enjoyable course, fun to play. Wide fairways. Would definitely play again.
Great course but not worth the normal rate.
I've played here a few times and have enjoyed it every time! The pace of play can be a bit slow during the winter months due to all of the people in town from the north. This course is certainly worth the money if you can find a good deal but I would not play it for the normal rate. Tees, greens and fairways are always in great condition. My only complaint would be the pace of play.
Painfully Slow
I teed off at 12:04 on a Friday. The front 9 lasted 2 hours 45 minutes and the back 9 lasted 2 hours 20 minutes. I think the back 9 went a little smoother because one of the groups in front of us quit after 9 holes. The guys at the bag drop made me feel like I was a burden to them. It was as if they did not want to put my bag on the cart for some reason. The course is absolutely beautiful and the weather could not have been more perfect. It was a perfect day for golf. The fairways and rough are very healthy right now. Greens are a little slow but very true. I enjoyed my round but it would have been much better at a normal pace. I recommend this course for you if you can put up with the slow play.
Pops
Front nine eases you into a mor difficult back. Always in good shape
Greens were slow
Been playing here since it opened it goes downhill in condition every year.might have just topdressed but was never told this the greens were long and slow .
