Oaks National Golf Club

I last played this course about 6 months ago and it was terrible. The grass was so high that I would loose balls in front of my face. Well, this time around it was a much better experience as the grass was finally in good shape. The greens were slow but well maintained, probably because of the rain the day before. Two things I didn't like was the pace of the game was super slow as people in front of us took forever to finish their holes (4 - 1/2 hour) and because of that we past way after 12 noon which made it super hot. It wasn't pleasant to play in over 100 degree weather. Second issue I had was safety, with a 8 foot gator right by the side where my ball landed. I wish they would have cold water available every 4 holes which would make it a much better experience during the hot summers. Overall, for the price it was OK.

Overall the course is in good shape. There were some overgrown areas around several greens and tee boxes, but the greens are excellent. I suppose new owners will in the nearest future bring a ground keeping crew with them.

Greens look good, but everything else is in terrible condition. Even if you fluff your lie, there aren’t many good options. Also the slowest round I’ve ever played, even though the course was not busy.

Course was pretty dry, but that’s to be expected. Greens were in decent shape, but not super fast. tee boxes and fairways certainly not pristine, but they worked just fine!. The course was not crowded and everybody was friendly. We got to take our time, which is great for me as a beginnner. It’s not the most beautiful course in the world, but it’s a great value. Will play again.m!

Course definitely needs to be maintained. Greens were patchy, fairways completely in disarray, and tee boxes covered with sand and dirt that housed yellow jackets and ants. It’s not in the best location, safety wise, and has a lot of direct access points to people out in main roads. There are some very pretty spots, but the course really needs some love.

14 of 18 holes had water hazards. It was challenging for my wife an I, as we only golf once a month. The course for the most part was surrounded by homes.

Overall good value for a day of golf.

I got a chance to get out and play 18 holes with my 2 kids. Staff was super friendly and went out of their way at every turn. It’s a good solid fun coarse for every level of golfer

Some tee boxes were just sand, greens are good. Staff very friendly. Enjoyed the round value for money.

Three tees were all sand and covered with bees.

House's are very close on some holes.

Green's are not well kept. One of the greens had 2 holes they forgot to fill one. Golf carts are old.

Didn't see any snakes but I'm sure there are some. Saw 3 crocodiles. Will not play here again.

Great course for the price and it does challenge you with all the water hikes and dog legs.

Fairways were very hard and weedy. One tee box was nothing but sand and full of ground bees. Doesn’t appear that any money is being put back into the course. Would not recommend this course to anyone.

Payed $20 with a hot deal. Pretty easy greens. Most are pancake flat but on the small side. Course would be much better if they discovered weed control, irrigation and basic grass management. It’s playable but some greens surrounded by tall weeds. Some tee boxes are 90% sand. So if you want cheap golf and not worried about moving your ball for an acceptable lie it’s all good.

Nice course. Tee boxes in rough shape. Great staff.
