About
Hibiscus Golf Club is one of the few 18-hole courses in Naples that are open to the public. The course is player enough for beginners and while it may not be what you're looking for if you're in search of a formidable test, it's good for some casual practice for the more advanced player. The layout balances player-friendly, wide fairways with greens that are guarded by strategically placed bunkers. There is a series of lakes and streams throughout the golf course that come into play on nearly every hole. The golf course has seen several improvements since it first opened in 1969, especially after it was badly damaged from a hurricane. More than 200 trees were added as well as 1,200 grasses and shrubs. Hibiscus Golf Club also has a driving range and putting green.

Ruined Day
It was a hot day, but we were playing at a consistent rate. After the 5th hole the Ranger informed us that we were 1.5 holes behind, and needed to speed up. We knew the people in the group behind us, and later asked them if we had been holding them up, since we never observed them waiting for us. They said absolutely not! Apparently the Ranger's concern was based on how far we were behind the group in front of us, but that was due to when the Starter sent us out, not our speed of play. The Ranger's admonishment put unnecessary pressure on our play (and scores), that ruined our day and left us with a very bad impression of Habiscus. We won't soon be back.
Hibiscus
The course was very nice i enjoyed playing Hibiscus. The greens were in above average condition. Staff was friendly I would play there again.
Improved since renovations…more grass in fairways…greens also improved but probably ran 9 on stimp. Played in pm so anticipated slow greens…. Bunkers very inconsistent with sand depth… staff friendly except starter…. What an attitude! Great food service and happy hour.
Good Naples Value
Good location in Naples. Decent layout and in good condition especially in the morning. The non playing rider fee is a little aggressive. Especially with a group purchasing so much on course alcohol.
