About
Hibiscus Golf Club is one of the few 18-hole courses in Naples that are open to the public. The course is player enough for beginners and while it may not be what you're looking for if you're in search of a formidable test, it's good for some casual practice for the more advanced player. The layout balances player-friendly, wide fairways with greens that are guarded by strategically placed bunkers. There is a series of lakes and streams throughout the golf course that come into play on nearly every hole. The golf course has seen several improvements since it first opened in 1969, especially after it was badly damaged from a hurricane. More than 200 trees were added as well as 1,200 grasses and shrubs. Hibiscus Golf Club also has a driving range and putting green.

It’s getting boring
The layout is too simple. On top they removed several obstacles, so finally it’s a highway

Greens were a bit inconsistent but were in good shape overall.
Extra charge
After paying through GolfNow I the day prior and additional $18.89 Cdn was charged to my credit card? Why?
Friendly staff
Cart guy remembered me from last time and returned my sunglasses that I left on the cart.
Starter got me out on the back nine because they were behind on the tee times.
Golf conditions
Excellent layout, great all around conditions, greens are perfect, speed is puttable. Only negative is, PLAYERS DO NOT REPAIR BALL Marks ON THE GREENS, and do not fill divots on tee boxes, or fairways as they should.
Just okay
Just so so. Greens were slow and fairways were a more like a first cut of rough. Not a bad course but a bit expensive.
Conditions
Good shape. Greens a tad slow but smooth. Very helpful staff good deal for a public course this time of year in overpriced Naples.
Hibiscus
Played in afternoon. Got stuck behind 3 some who were Lilly gagging on every hole. Ranger parked on 4th hole. . Told group behind us to speed up. Would have made more sense to drive around to monitor pace of play. Greens were receptive, course in good shape. Played front nine in 2:5, back nine as twosome in 1:10.overall nice course.
Very playable
Good conditions greens are a tad hairy layout was forgiving. Staff was excellent… A good deal for a public course in Naples this time of year.
Heard good news !!
The course will remain open to the public into next year! I was told that they were closing and going private this spring so I’m happy that may be delayed.
