Hibiscus Golf Club

For being closed for a redo, this was disappointing. Course conditions no better than previous experience before redo. Most noticeable change was the new concrete bridges throughout the course. Nowhere near the value for green fee…but they can get it. Place is always busy. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Most of the employees at Hibiscus are very cordial, including the guys loading your clubs, the shop people, and even the rangers. But the starters are a bunch of grumpy old men who treat you like dirt, seemingly forgetting that you are spending around $150 a round, after counting taxes and warm-up balls. They often want to start you prior to your scheduled tee time, but they are too lazy to walk over 30 yards to the practice tee to tell you; and then they get angry because you were not waiting on the first tee, even if you arrive there before your scheduled time. They seem to think that you can hear them from when they are talking from their starter's shed. They either need to walk over to the practice area or get a megaphone,Their attitude is very, very poor, which is unfortunate, since everyone else couldn't be nicer.

As a former director of golf, and greens, these pin placements were ridiculous. place on knobs within 5 to 6 feet of edge of greens. In my 40 years of golf they were the most unprofessional placements ever. The 3 other players I played with play there and agreed they were brutal.

This course is not worth the money. You will wait 20 minutes for every tee shot because they dont know how to keep pace of play. We played today and quit on hole 10 because they turned the sprinklers on at 5 pm. Pathetic excuse for running a course and when we asked why the sprinklers were on the answer we got was “the pro shop doesnt control the greenskeeper.” They should be ashamed that they are selling at this price and ashamed of the way they run their business. I will NEVER play here again and you shouldnt either

Course was decent, greens were not great but layout was enjoyable

The course was reseeded in the off season and re opened in November. The greens need to be rolled. And punched …They were quite lumpy The course gets a lot of play Was told around 250 rounds a day so conditions are indicative off that level of use.

Do yourself a favor and set your money on fire. You will get more pleasure from that than playing this course

Terrible condition..poor attitude from staff..pace of play not good.

Improvements since shut down: Fairway grass, bunkering, tees, GPS, staff.

Not: GREENS, increased greens fees , Still bare areas of rough.

Even though fees increased, it’s still lower than others. Average, but playable.
