Hibiscus Golf Club

Nice staff. Decent warm-up area but the course is in rough shape. To get food at the turn...not a great process. They have a phone number but don't answer their phones. Had to order in-person. A hot dog should be fast and ready at 1pm in the afternoon....but not so much and had to let folks through while we waited. Terrible dog...mashed bun was flattened and super expensive. Two beers, two dogs almost 40 bucks! Pace of play was terrible. Over 5 hrs, no marshall, the group in-front were 2+ holes behind.

Played this course for the first time. I would never go back. 4:45 round. Felt like 6 hours. It's a shame because the layout is good but the course is not very well maintained. I'm sure it gets a lot of play so I can't imagine my slow round was an aberration.

8 minute t-times cause an early back-up waiting to tee off.

The group in front of us was more than a hole behind the group in front of them, no excuse for that. Where is the ranger to tell them to quicken the pace?

4:45 hours later and all the waiting takes the fun out of the round.

As the title says, decent public course. Tried to squeeze in 9 before sunset. Got held up a bit by the 4some in front so had to abandon the 9th due to darkness. Greens are a bit shabby in spots, fairways are ok. I mostly played from the rough anyway lol. Range closes early on Wednesday apparently so didn't get to tune up before going out which was a bummer. Overall, average experience for a public course..

This golf course was horrible when I last played there and to my surprise I the fairway and the greens were great.

In all honesty, he only reason I played this course for the second time while in Naples is that it was a stone's throw from our airbnb. Fairways are hardly lush green.

And the 90 degree rule is a nuisance, especially for seniors.

But having said that I enjoyed the day. Will I play there again next year...not sure. Arrowhead is much better, even it is more expensive. So is Eagle Lakes.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The course needs major work. Fairways , tee boxes are poor greens were fair. Not many choices in naples but this does have potential. They are renovating the course starting in April if the price stays low and the renovations are done correctly it will be nice.
