About
Hibiscus Golf Club is one of the few 18-hole courses in Naples that are open to the public. The course is player enough for beginners and while it may not be what you're looking for if you're in search of a formidable test, it's good for some casual practice for the more advanced player. The layout balances player-friendly, wide fairways with greens that are guarded by strategically placed bunkers. There is a series of lakes and streams throughout the golf course that come into play on nearly every hole. The golf course has seen several improvements since it first opened in 1969, especially after it was badly damaged from a hurricane. More than 200 trees were added as well as 1,200 grasses and shrubs. Hibiscus Golf Club also has a driving range and putting green.

Course was in terrible shape: awful fairways, some greens weedy or infested with patches of different grasses and some bunkers with damp sand. Indications are that they are preparing for major improvements - closing down to install new irrigation system and, presumably, reseeding. In the meantime, this place is way overpriced.

I would have rated the course above average but it seemed that since they are going under major course renovation April 1 = average value for price paid

They said course being shut down April - needs it. Fairways didn’t have decent grass. But it’s Naples so public options limited
Beautiful course
Very friendly staff. Beautiful course. Had a great time playing. We did feel rushed a little but that does happen while golfing sometimes. We will be back!!!
They’re ready for renovations
Course is closing April 1st and conditions were acceptable.
The pace of play on front 9 was slow but back nine was much quicker
Finished in 4 hours
Course ranger needs training
Was told by ranger to pick up pace of play on 5th hole. Then WAITED to tee off on 7th hole and every shot for the remainder of the round.....
Way too slow!
Second time playing there and it took 2:45 to play 9 holes.
We saw one ranger and he had nothing to say.
That hurts the game of golf!
Horrible Golf Course for the money
Fairways were basically dirt as well as numerous tee boxes. I would t recommend this course and an embarrassment for the city of Naples being the golf capital in the USA. I will never ever play this course again and I have seen better cow pastures in the Midwest.
Renovation imminent
When you arrive and see a sign the course is closing in 3 weeks for renovations you have to wonder.
Tee boxes definitely need renovation
Fairways were green but dead grass mixed in required winter rules. Not the best to say the least!!
Greens were acceptable but not worth the $120 + you pay to play
That being said the staff is top
Notch! Pulled up and released truck and they had my clubs out. Asked if driving or riding and off I went. The restaurant opens a little late so bring you’re own coffee.
The bar is great and reasonable priced.
If you’re looking to play under $250 then you can give it a try but if you want fairways play elsewhere. May might be a better time to play.
