About
Hibiscus Golf Club is one of the few 18-hole courses in Naples that are open to the public. The course is player enough for beginners and while it may not be what you're looking for if you're in search of a formidable test, it's good for some casual practice for the more advanced player. The layout balances player-friendly, wide fairways with greens that are guarded by strategically placed bunkers. There is a series of lakes and streams throughout the golf course that come into play on nearly every hole. The golf course has seen several improvements since it first opened in 1969, especially after it was badly damaged from a hurricane. More than 200 trees were added as well as 1,200 grasses and shrubs. Hibiscus Golf Club also has a driving range and putting green.

The area needs more public courses.
Let’s try to keep the game affordable for everyone not just the affluent. The youth is the future of the game.
Hibiscus
Decent course. Good layout. Turf conditions were not great, but the course is scheduled for renovation work beginning in April. Good enough conditions for a very heavily used course. Would like to play it again after renovations are done.
course in terrible shape
Walked off after 4 hours and 13 holes. Did have some white to go, but it was slowwww. Course was in very raggedy shape except for the greens which were excellent.They were really small but rolled great.
Seems like a lot of beginners. Old time couples course, which is totally fine but it really slow.
Definitely not worth the money
The clubhouse is actually pretty nice and the staff handling the cars was very nice. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The layout is all right, but even the middle of the fairways was mostly a thin veneer of yellow crabgrass and this was in February. Overall just not near the quality I would expect for ~$150 dollars. Apparently this is something of the norm for public courses in Naples.
Friends meeting me in the clubhouse afterward were also ignored by the bartender chatting with the local crowd of non-golfers so we left.
Course was in TERRIBLE shape. Understand they are closing 4-1-23 for extensive renovations, so consequently they are letting the course go, before the
Shame on the course for extensive charges, when they are letting the course go, due too renovations in April thru September.
