About
Hibiscus Golf Club is one of the few 18-hole courses in Naples that are open to the public. The course is player enough for beginners and while it may not be what you're looking for if you're in search of a formidable test, it's good for some casual practice for the more advanced player. The layout balances player-friendly, wide fairways with greens that are guarded by strategically placed bunkers. There is a series of lakes and streams throughout the golf course that come into play on nearly every hole. The golf course has seen several improvements since it first opened in 1969, especially after it was badly damaged from a hurricane. More than 200 trees were added as well as 1,200 grasses and shrubs. Hibiscus Golf Club also has a driving range and putting green.

Needs work
Fairways are in bad shape, greens ok, good for beginners or just getting out, should be cheaper
Fun layout but disappointed in the best upkeep.
The layout of the course was fun to play. It had some challenging water and bunker shots along with some straight away shots. Staff was friendly and on top of everything. Pace of play was perfect not too fast and not too slow. Only problem was the upkeep of the grounds. Multiple fairways and greens had massive dead patches making putting pace and lines very difficult. Also the scenic appeal was not great due to these massive dead spots. But there is good news a staff member said that starting April 1 2023 they will be shutting down to put in a new irrigation system and reseed the grounds. Hopefully this makes the problem of dead patches throughout the course nonexistent. Hopefully after this renovation the grounds upkeep and appeal with match the price.

Under the gun
Booked a tee time that should allow ample opportunity to finish an 18-hole round well before sunset but we’re told by the check-in staff that we needed to have the carts returned by 7 PM, a full hour before daylight begins to wane. Resulted in a rushed round of golf. If the club doesn’t want carts out past a certain time, don’t accept tee times with carts that will result in exceeding that cut-off time..
Nice place 2 play
Awesome course friendly good food olny thing is always lose my ball on 10 hole due 2 driving range lol so now i use a ball with color lol..come every year when on vacation. And you get 2 see a couple of gators 😂
Tee boxes and fairways are terrible. Needs major makeover, apparently in the works. Today not worth the price. Although, nice layout, good range, nice people and amenities.
Soon to be Redone
This course will be nice when they finish their renovation. Closing in early April with a projected re-opening in November or December. I recommend trying it in 2024.
Rough shape
It’s about to close April first for renovations. It needs it. The course was in rough shape. Not much grass
Should be discounted for that. We’d played it before and it was in better shape. It’s worth $130 in good shape. Not so much now
Hibiscus Review
I’ve played golf for 57 years and have never experienced a course in such deplorable conditions as this course
A total ripoff for the price they charge. It wouldn’t be worth a $20 green fee
I have never before reviewed a course but felt this review is necessary to help others from great disappointment
Vacation time
Come here at least three or four times while on vacation love the big course excellent staff coming back Saturday the 25th
