Hibiscus Golf Club
About
Hibiscus Golf Club is one of the few 18-hole courses in Naples that are open to the public. The course is player enough for beginners and while it may not be what you're looking for if you're in search of a formidable test, it's good for some casual practice for the more advanced player. The layout balances player-friendly, wide fairways with greens that are guarded by strategically placed bunkers. There is a series of lakes and streams throughout the golf course that come into play on nearly every hole. The golf course has seen several improvements since it first opened in 1969, especially after it was badly damaged from a hurricane. More than 200 trees were added as well as 1,200 grasses and shrubs. Hibiscus Golf Club also has a driving range and putting green.

Golfer Reviews
Great Last Minute Deal
I jumped on a last minute Hot Deal to book a single midday. A foursome two ahead of ours slowed play. We quit after 16 holes at 4:03 mark. The Ranger expressed concern over us using three carts, although approved by the starter because I had to leave by a certain time. But he showed little concern for the pace of play.
Greens were only fair today….. didn’t appear that were cut or rolled.
Course is okay
The course was not as plush and green as we expected from viewing pictures online. It was okay for a public course. All staff is excellent.
Nice round
Curse was in good shape. Interesting track. Played with a friend, then paired with 2 nice guys. Played in 4 hours.
Too exper
When compared to other courses in the area, which are better maintained and somewhat more interesting, to be charging the same prices, your lucky there are not more courses around.
Cool day at Naples
Had a great time being the first tee time off. Got paired up with 3 very nice folks who also played ready golf. Played in 3 hours. Course was fine. Traps were impressive and very playable. Numerous tee boxes to accommodate whatever your game is. Heard they are going private in June???? So much for golfnow having this course for consideration next year.
GD-Great Day
Nice course, fairways and greens are attended to .
Nelson R.
The course itself was in good shape and the greens are well maintained! I did like the layout and will be back. Even though the fees in SWFL to play golf are high for a decent course. There should be at least one day a week have discounted or 1/2 price specials in season. Or maybe include lunch?
Always a favorite of mine.
I enjoyed playing here as always. The course was in the best condition I have seen it over the years, especially the greens.
Bills
HI found the course was poor layout property on all sides of the fairways greens poor fairways good worst thing was that no safety advice given about ALIGATORS on the course met one about ten foot at lakeside were my ball landed. Put me on edge for the whole round did not enjoy the golf. Had I knownen there were dangerous ALIGATORS I would not have played the course. I feel a refund should be given for the trauma caused.
They forgot to mention the alligators on the lake
AS A VISTOTR FROM IRELAND I THOUGHT THE COURSE WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY I PAID PROPERTY'S LINING THE FAIRWAYS. GREENS POOR. FAIRWAYS OK AND NO SAFETY PRECAUTIONS TAKEN TO INFORM THERE CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE ALIGATORS IN THE LAKE. THE ONE I ENCOUNTERED WAS AT LEAST 10 TO 12 FOOT LONG A NICE BREAKFAST I WOULD HAVE BEEN. I SHALL BE ASKING FOR A REFUND ASAP I WAS SHOCKED TO KNOW THAT THERE WAS NO SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN TO ME
They need training
On a wet day - no towels. Tee time was at 10:45 am, sorry, no food because "our cooks don't like cooking this early". Yes, that is exactly what I was told, LOL.
They charge $210 dollars in season, and give you ZERO service.
It took 25 minutes to get 3 hotdogs at the turn. We had to let 2 groups go through. The person working the "restaurant" was so obviously upset to be there, we were intimidated to simply ask for a coke or anything else.
It is obvious this course has no leadership in their ranks. Save your money. Plenty of other courses to play down here.
Worth the money?
Nice course but way over priced but in Naples,
You have few options and they know it!!
Hibiscus
Good course, friendly staff and the practice are was good. Course was in good condition and greens were also in good condition. Would play again.
Very sad it’s closing
One of our very last public courses in Naples is closing. Sad day for Naples golfers. Love the people that work at Hibiscus. I’ve played many many rounds there so thank you for all the great memories
Evil Starter
Hibiscus course is overall decent however the starter “John” is an evil evil individual and for that reason I will no longer play at Hibiscus until he is no longer employed. The guys that take care of the carts and the bags are awesome. Get rid of John.
Agree with overprice. But there are TONS of options in Naples open to the public. Not sure what you mean.
