Ocala National at Golden Hills Country Club

So different than Saint Augustine area. I had fun on this forgiving course

Course overall in pretty good condition. Paceof play was perfect. No one in front of us. I enjoy the variety of holes on this course. Lots of hills and valleys.

Many areas of weeds, often around the back or sides of greens, detract from what could be a great course. I was off the putting surface by about five or six feet a few times and could not get a good shot on the ball because of the lack of suitable grass/playing surface. The tee boxes are terrible and look like the course has been abandoned for several months. Spend a few dollars, will you?

It is a very excellent course for younger people, but I am 84 years old and too much walking up and down. Course was in very good shape from tees to fairways to greens.

The course is in the best shape we have played in the last 4 seasons

The greens and sand texture were as you hope but trap edging was very weedy and shaggy and any shots not down the middle were likely sitting on hardpan. We will likely never make the 30 minute drive to play here again.

Wonderful day on a very enjoyable course! It was just beyond my experience level, but so very nice! I am a newer golfer, and I was disappointed with my game .

Not meant as a criticism, but the carts were older and no USB . I suppose I expected newer. My mistake.

My only criticism is that there were no bunker rakes , or one provided on the carts, and they were not cared for. We adopted a rule that if in a hole you could move it.

We played here as the price was a bargain and we like to try new to us courses. I wouldn’t recommend a newer golfer, but don’t pass it up if you want a great experience!

I like the layout of this course but or needs some attention. The bunkers were a bit overgrown with grass and not raked out well. There is a lot of tree debris that has obviously been there a while. If these were cleaned up and sharpened up it would be a really great course.

Loved the layout and the staff was great. Although the sand traps need a little work, overall the course design and great roll of the greens make this a gem. I'm looking forward to going back to play again!

Where do I begin.. first off, this might be the worst golf course I’ve ever played. The fairways are rye and haven't been cut in days The bunkers are just holes in the ground ridden with over grown with weeds and the pace of play was atrocious. The guy working the pro shop was nice and I wanted to love this course but was left majorly disappointed. You’re better off finding another track.
