Bang for the buck
Fun, challenging course. Course plays long from the tips, fairways are good and greens are awesome. Elevation changes, big trees and no water.
Super course
I play here often and like it quite a bit. The value is excellent and the course is challenging enough with punishing beginners.
Great Day of Golf
Course was great, weather was perfect, staff friendly and helpful, really enjoyed our day on the links. Pace of play a bit slow, two foursomes in front and the bunkers a bit rough from lots of rain last week. Will be back again.
Great experience
First time playing here. The course was in good shape. A couple of sand traps had standing water in them due to heavy rains overnight. But otherwise very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and I was able to play my round without any problems. I’ll definitely be back
Poor
Played before but this time the fairways were fair but the first cut of the roughs and all areas off the fairway was weeds and uncut areas.The course is a good lay out but the condition were poor. Were is the maintenance?
OK for the price, needs better conditioning
A nice layout, great friendly staff, but the course needs some more money and time put into conditioning, It is a pretty place, but that detracts from it.
Another Enjoyable Round at Ocala National
I travel from Gainesville to place this course and always enjoy my rounds at this course. The course has great routing and the conditions are always very good. I would recommend this course to someone wanting to find a place to play regularly this is the place to play. It tests your game and really provides a nice challenge. I will be returning again very soon.

This course was probably primo in it's time but hasn't been upkept to it's potential but respectively due to the circumstances of covid they were probably a victim or lack of money.. overall had a great day
Nice hilly FL course
Fairways in good shape, greens mediocre.. Distance Women friendly but challenging sand traps and rough.
Sad, Sad, Sad
Each time I’ve played here before (4x-5x) I would say...”if they just had only a bit better condition”
This time, it was in horrendous condition and needs a serious overhaul.
