Ocala National at Golden Hills Country Club

Rained the front 9 and stopped raining by the turn and played the back 9 without the rain. This was the first time playing the course in inclement weather and it was tough. The wet weather made this course an incredible challenge. The course itself was fine. Greens are showing signs of a little wear but the tee boxes are in good shape and the fairways are as well. My only complaint is I played poorly. My poor play distracted me from the beauty of the course and the tranquil atmosphere it offers. I’ll be back to enjoy all that Ocala National has to offer and hopefully I’ll play better too.

4 of us had a great day at Ocala National. The course is in good condition and people wer friendly. Could not have asked for a better day of golf.

Course and greens are in great shape. Will return later in the week to play again.

Ocala National is a course with a decent challenge offered at most holes. The greens and fairways were in good shape for spring or early summer. The rough on the other hand didn't look like it had been cut for some time. If you were off the fairway it was just about impossible to locate your ball.

With the exception of the uncut rough it was a good place to play due to elevation changes alone. We'll be back.

weeds growing everywhere when u get off the fairway...bunkers in real bad shape weeds stones etc....tee boxes can't get a t in the ground...most off all they don't provide a score card...REALLY!!!!

Just a quick one...nice layout, pace started awful ranger came thru informed us there was a 3 hole backup, stated if we went to 13 we could get ahead..he then offered to escort us to that hole...above and beyond, clear sailing, wide open play emedeatly improved enjoyed the rest of the day..

Greens care running well, but holding good shots. Fairways excellent, traps fair and rough ruff.

Was able to get a Golf now hot deal for $20. Considering the great shape of the course this was a really good deal.

Many twosomes making pace of play consistent and good.

Always a good and challenging lay out better than expected with greens running well.

Fun, challenging course. Course plays long from the tips, fairways are good and greens are awesome. Elevation changes, big trees and no water.

I play here often and like it quite a bit. The value is excellent and the course is challenging enough with punishing beginners.

Course was great, weather was perfect, staff friendly and helpful, really enjoyed our day on the links. Pace of play a bit slow, two foursomes in front and the bunkers a bit rough from lots of rain last week. Will be back again.
