Bloomingdale Golfers Club
About
Bloomingdale Golfers Club sits on 220 acres of natural terrain with 100-year-old oaks, natural marsh preserves teeming with wildlife, fields of flowers, and thirteen lakes. Here you'll find a true Golfers Club -- no pools, no tennis courts, just Florida Golf at its finest. Tree lined fairways, pampas grass, massive waste areas, deep grass bunkers and contoured greens tempt golfers to play a round. Golf Digest described Bloomingdale Golfers Club as having the best collection of par 5's on one golf course as they have seen. Bloomingdale, which has been ranked #9 in Florida by Golfweek Magazine, is dedicated to preserving the natural appeal of the land. Course residents include a bald eagle, several sandhill cranes, sixty species of semi-rare birds, and the ever-present raccoon...the course trademark.

Interesting holes
Fairways and greens were in good condition. Some of the forward tees were a bit rough. Pace of play was good for most of the round until a bottleneck at 16 where there were 4 groups waiting. Too many singles and doubles going off and on group of 6. No ranger on site at 4:00.
Family outing
Great course! The course is in great shape considering how dry it has been, we enjoyed our entire experience.
It was 3 years ago that we last played Bloomingdale"s and we were pleasantly surprised by the improvements made to the course. Greens were consistent; Fairways were extreme;ly playable and the Tee Boxes were even and well maintained.
Golf with an old friend
As always course was in good shape and played tough. I met an old friend I hadn’t seen in many years. His first round at Bloomingdale. He really enjoyed the course. I’ll be back soon and I’m sure he’ll return as well. By the way the new carts are great.
Pace of Play
The course itself is very nice. Our tee time was 10:52am and we didn't even start until after 11:40am. The starter indicated that there were several people who showed up without tee times and they had to squeeze them in. That's so disrespectful to those who made tee times and get pushed back.
The starter also said that with the new carts they can monitor the pace of play with the GPS system and take appropriate steps to speed up the pace of play; that never happened. It took three hours to finish the front nine and we couldn't even finish the back nine because we had a 6pm retirement function.
Had we completed all 18 holes it would have been almost 7 hours from our schedules tee time. In my view it's gross mismanagement as the almighty dollar seems far more important than providing a quality golfing experience to their customers.
Great Outing
I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the course looked as I drove to the pro shop to check in, it has been very dry in this area this winter. I was greeted at the front desk of pro shop with friendly staff member and he explained to me all the information concerning the golf course and the brand new golf carts on hand. I will definitely be back! Great course, wonderful staff and very nice conditions
Buyer beware
For the money you pay, you don't get much. Almost every green is in shambles, the carts are dangerous, old and dirty.
There's never a ranger to move slow play along.
Didn’t finish
Greens were good, course ok slowest I think I ever experienced anywhere. Was supposed to tee if at 10:15 and in the 12 hole we stopped playing as we had already passed five hours on the course.
Nice discovery
Very challenging. Carts and car paths need a little bit of love. But for the rest. What a golf course. And thanks to my two partners who were so sweet.
Pack a lunch, maybe dinner too
The driving range was basically a bunker, no grass at all to hit off of. The chipping and putting greens were in good shape. The starter says to the two of us “you can pair up with this other twosome if you’d like, whatever you want to do”, so no wonder it took over 5 hours to get in 18. We got a hot deal rate of $30 a piece, certainly wasn’t worth that. The tee boxes and fairways were in good shape though, the greens were a little spotty.
I’d only play here again if they’d stop booking tee times 7 minutes apart and actually patrolled the pace. Over 5 hours is ridiculous.
good bones; needs some TLC.
at our appointed tee time, we had to wait for three groups to hit, so front 9 took 2.5 hours; back was almost same
many tee boxes are crowned (a few looked freshly graded, flat and nice grass)
the layup area in front of #14 has obvious sprinker/irrigation leaks - as evidenced by standing water, mud pits, and spongy turf
practice tee very chewed up, hardly any grass
greens good, bunkers OK; this place could be better with a little more directed maintenance and marshalling faster play
