Bloomingdale Golfers Club
About
Bloomingdale Golfers Club sits on 220 acres of natural terrain with 100-year-old oaks, natural marsh preserves teeming with wildlife, fields of flowers, and thirteen lakes. Here you'll find a true Golfers Club -- no pools, no tennis courts, just Florida Golf at its finest. Tree lined fairways, pampas grass, massive waste areas, deep grass bunkers and contoured greens tempt golfers to play a round. Golf Digest described Bloomingdale Golfers Club as having the best collection of par 5's on one golf course as they have seen. Bloomingdale, which has been ranked #9 in Florida by Golfweek Magazine, is dedicated to preserving the natural appeal of the land. Course residents include a bald eagle, several sandhill cranes, sixty species of semi-rare birds, and the ever-present raccoon...the course trademark.

Horrific Management
I was called a “fu@$ing c@(ksucker” by the course manager while on the range.and received an argumentative “apology”.
A suggestion re player development programs
This course is one of the best values in Tampa area -- good layout in good condition. But if you tee off after 12, be aware that around 2 pm members of Bloomingdale's player development program descend on the course in considerable numbers and, with no starter, some choose to tee off on 10. They will jump in front of you even as you come off the front 9. Two guys jumped in front of my group, teed off from the tips (7,000 plus yards) and proceeded to hit the ball about 100 yards, even after taking mulligans. I guess they have not got to the etiquette part of the player development program yet (or the driving, irons and wedges sections). Maybe courses with PDPs should require members to make tee times and not allow the free for all. These programs are great -- if you live close to these courses, they are excellent deals. But have some consideration for the other golfers.
Not recommend for better golfers
Thought this course would be nice and not busy since I was allowed to pick any tee time I wanted the day before. We got there on a Wednesday morning. No starter sending people out. Told us to step up in line and wait to tee off which is a horrible sign early. Stuck waiting on every hole. Turned into a 6 hour round. Greens had little dirt spots everywhere and weren't putting true. Fairways were in decent shape but still had dry spots/bad spots all over. Almost a weird blue color to them. Bunkers were mediocre at best. For $50. Waste of money. If you play good golf, don’t come here.
Staff much customer focus was greatly improved. Course is challenging! Two things to improve: 1) move the range line so we can hit off grass vs dirt!; 2) tee boxes need work...
BGC Review
When you pull into the parking lot, you might be misled by the condition in which the front landscaping is in. Then you walk through the clubhouse and pro shop building where it opens up to a golf haven. They have some of the best practice facilities around and include a driving range, chipping area and a huge practice green for putting. Greens, fairways and tee box’s are in great shape and the course lays nicely in some heavily wooded areas with lots of oaks. If you need a pointer or just want to meet someone awesome and knows the game, talk to Tom the Ranger. He’s the one who always has a cigar!
burnt on Bloomingdale
Greens back to nice rolling after aeration 2 weeks ago. rest of course good shape. Would like them to deep rake the traps once in a while
