Bloomingdale Golfers Club
About
Bloomingdale Golfers Club sits on 220 acres of natural terrain with 100-year-old oaks, natural marsh preserves teeming with wildlife, fields of flowers, and thirteen lakes. Here you'll find a true Golfers Club -- no pools, no tennis courts, just Florida Golf at its finest. Tree lined fairways, pampas grass, massive waste areas, deep grass bunkers and contoured greens tempt golfers to play a round. Golf Digest described Bloomingdale Golfers Club as having the best collection of par 5's on one golf course as they have seen. Bloomingdale, which has been ranked #9 in Florida by Golfweek Magazine, is dedicated to preserving the natural appeal of the land. Course residents include a bald eagle, several sandhill cranes, sixty species of semi-rare birds, and the ever-present raccoon...the course trademark.

Love this course
They take great care. A bit of a tough one but I love the challenge!
Easily turned off
Course is fun and well maintained. Greens were fast. Sand in sand traps. Working on some tee boxes but doesn’t take away from the course. Asked pro shop if they had coolers for some beers, “yes, at the bar.” Go to the bar to purchase a six pack for the last 9 holes with a cooler to keep them cold and was told by the bartender they have no coolers. Didn’t seem to want to sell any beer, didn’t bother to ask if they could fill a bag with ice. We chose to eat elsewhere after the round.
Love all but hole #18 (but we'll forgive 'em for that)
Great course with some lovely holes that have only tree views without houses (something we really like). It was in good shape, the pace was nice (uncrowded the day we played), and the holes were challenging & fun. Well, then there's #18 where you make that sharp dogleg left over a rather huge "eco-wasteland" or whatever it's called. Sister course Baytree on the Space Coast has the same sort of hole (its #9) minus the dogleg, & we don't like that hole either. :-) Psychological hurdles. Oh well. .
The turn
They always have a Ranger for a controlled start, it’s when you turn for the back nine when every time I’ve played this course, with one exception, issues arise. Players leave the range and head straight to #10 to avoid paying or waiting for their tee time at #1. And they are never kind while doing so, very aggressive. Won’t return - reported the issue and got a shoulder shrug - whatever.
Course is in excellent condition, fairways, tee boxes and greens. The outer ares of the rough could use some TLC.
We have been playing here for several years and the course is definitely in beautul shape this year.
Great time
I play this course two to three times a week. It’s awesome.
Pace of play is atrocious
9:30 tee time got bumped back to 9:50, didn’t finish until 3pm. Just totally inexcusable to be that backed up. I have played here quite often and it just keeps getting worse. Stop overbooking tee times!
It’s a shame because the course is actually in great shape, the greens were in good condition and rolled true. I won’t be back for a while.
We used to play this course when visiting Hard Rock and we enjoyed the beautiful oak tree/Spanish moss and wildlife. Haven’t played it since Covid or Hurricane Ian. So with that in mind here goes. This course needs some tender love and care. Tight and bare lies are prevalent and this course looks and feels run down. All that can actually be overlooked. But, with the lack of a starter we had two groups jump in front of us at the turn. Total free for all. We read reviews stating just that but didn’t think it was a big problem. Total chaos and a waste of at least three holes. With no end in sight and no infusion of money I’m pretty sure we won’t be back.
Slow Back 9
Both fairways and greens were in good condition. We breezed through the first 10 holes; then we came to a full stop. Starting on 11 we had 3 groups on every hole.
One group was holding up play. We called the clubhouse and they sent out a ranger. Not much he could do.
The rangers need to monitor pace of play.
No Starter & too many singles jumping around all over the course
Too many singles pressing 2s & 3s every hole then they jump you but now you ate waiting for them every hole because there were groups ahead of you too.
