Bloomingdale Golfers Club
About
Bloomingdale Golfers Club sits on 220 acres of natural terrain with 100-year-old oaks, natural marsh preserves teeming with wildlife, fields of flowers, and thirteen lakes. Here you'll find a true Golfers Club -- no pools, no tennis courts, just Florida Golf at its finest. Tree lined fairways, pampas grass, massive waste areas, deep grass bunkers and contoured greens tempt golfers to play a round. Golf Digest described Bloomingdale Golfers Club as having the best collection of par 5's on one golf course as they have seen. Bloomingdale, which has been ranked #9 in Florida by Golfweek Magazine, is dedicated to preserving the natural appeal of the land. Course residents include a bald eagle, several sandhill cranes, sixty species of semi-rare birds, and the ever-present raccoon...the course trademark.

Needs a Little TLC
A few of the greens were in need of some care. They were burned out and matted down. The green on Hole 13 actually had some unearthed activity. Course plays well and could be great with some additional attention to the greens.
Also, I planned to play alone, so I could beat traffic, but I was paired with two addition golfers. So what was supposed to be a quick 2.5hr practice round, turned into a 5hr round. Not fun being in traffic.
Bloomingdale golf course
Pace was very flow..something needs to be done for players moving
Always a challenge
Tough layout, very fast greens. I think we found most of the water and all of the trees but we’ll be back anyway. Always a challenge but a good value. Keep up the good job.
Nice course
Nice course and reasonably priced and friendly staff. Need a Marshall twosome in front of us kept driving up to the green
Great fairway condition
Fairways excellent. I did not particularly care for the greens. Enjoy
Nice course
Wonderful course, just not a fan of the greens. They were in great shape but too artificial.
Muddy, blue liquid fertilizer covered greens
Usually a great place, but the greens were awful.
Restrooms had no water at arrival.
Great layout
Good course, good layout, management needs to restrict Carts from driving around the greens leaving us a tight lies
3 hours to play the front 9
This course was in good condition and would be a lot of fun if ran smoothly. This was the slowest nine holes I have played by over an hour. We didn’t tee off until 20 minutes after our tee time, there were 2 groups still on the first tee when we went off and 2 behind us when we finally teed off. My group waited at least 10 minutes at every single tee box. I blame the management for horribly overbooking the course. I left after nine holes because waiting was unbearable. This was a waste of a Sunday, I was excited to try this course for the first time and had heard great things. I understand golf courses have struggled financially and are trying to make up for lost revenue but this was ridiculous. I guarantee they lost what would’ve been loyal customers due to the pace of play. I drove 35 minutes from south tampa to try the course out. I believe they charge 65 dollars to play on the weekend, fortunately I was able to get a time for 30 dollars through the app. I would’ve asked for a rain check but I will not return to this mismanaged sardine can of a golf course.
Five plus hours and still couldn’t get in18.
I understand that we’re in difficult times with Covid and the respect that non family members can ride by themselves but if you came or playing with friends than buddy up as you’ve already committed to playing with them for four hours or so anyway. Fives ones don’t help either. Ranger would be helpful!!!
This course over books. We had a 1:15 tee time and didn’t tee off until 1:45. When we finished the 14th hole, it was 6:00 and there was no way we were
If they can figure out a way to get you off at your tee time and enforce a maximum 4 1/2 hour round, I’d go back but there is no way I want to spend over 5 hours on a golf course and only finish 14 holes.
