Bloomingdale Golfers Club
About
Bloomingdale Golfers Club sits on 220 acres of natural terrain with 100-year-old oaks, natural marsh preserves teeming with wildlife, fields of flowers, and thirteen lakes. Here you'll find a true Golfers Club -- no pools, no tennis courts, just Florida Golf at its finest. Tree lined fairways, pampas grass, massive waste areas, deep grass bunkers and contoured greens tempt golfers to play a round. Golf Digest described Bloomingdale Golfers Club as having the best collection of par 5's on one golf course as they have seen. Bloomingdale, which has been ranked #9 in Florida by Golfweek Magazine, is dedicated to preserving the natural appeal of the land. Course residents include a bald eagle, several sandhill cranes, sixty species of semi-rare birds, and the ever-present raccoon...the course trademark.

Good course, good layout, condition was not up to the hype and greens were a little spongy and patchy but definitely a fun course to get on!! Will be back again.
Course was okay
Course was okay, #9 hole was out of play due to sprinkler work. Also the last 5 holes were cart path only. This would be fine except they didn't notify us about the cart path rule before we played. Also the GPS on the cart was broken and we had no idea when the cart would just start beeping and we were in a restricted zone
Horrendous Time Management
Created an online tee time for 11a . Got to the course and checked in. When I went to the starter I was informed there was a 30 minute delay. Went back to the clubhouse and told them we could only play 9 holes given the delay and asked to be credited. They infuse that they could not refund any money and that after nine holes we could get a rain check. Told them if they would have told about the delay checking I. I would have only paid for nine holes. All I got was an “oh well sorry”. It took one hour to play 3 holes. Every hole we were backed up. Spoke with the foursome behind us and they said this was not unusual. Horribly experience.
Terrible management… course is still torn up from storms
Absolutely ridiculous that you can’t get a rain check after only playing 7 holes.
Round started decent then after the first 2 fairways the next5 are trashed with mud spots and trenches. Figured well let’s continue our round when a nasty torrential downpour with lightning came in. We tried to wait it out but with how wet the course was already, we decided there will be puddles everywhere. So we decided to call GolfNow to get a rain check since we got a hot deal. They have to call the golf course to confirm the rainy conditions and well the management at the golf club decided to lie and say the golf course is open and never closed. The fact that they would lie and willing to put the golfers at risk with lightning striking within a mile from the course is ridiculous. Never spending my money on a place like that.
they couldn’t allow GolfNow to give me a rain check definitely is deal breaker for me.
Pace of Play
A really cool course layout with so much potential. However do not play here if you have plans after golfing. They overbooked the course so bad that my round took 6.5 hours. The greens are also awful, not worth the money.
Tbis course has some great holes and challenges.
The problem with this course is they let people jump in and start on 10 backing up those coming off #9. Does not matter which day are time. It is very frustrating to allow this occur time after time.
They have carts that tell the club house where each cart is. WHY!!!
They have people on tbe course at least 2 holes behind, people hitting (example a 4 some hitting 8 shots off the tee box) then standing around sfter each shot talking and laughing, while they looking back to see 2 groups waiting.
SAD SAD SAD
Awesome
We got hooked up with another pair. One of the guys Paul was a real piece of work. Hated every minute with him. The course was great he made it bad. I will never again play with that guy again. The other guy he quit after 13 holes had enough. On 14 we went around this 3 some to not play with him. Thsrs when it was really good. It will take to long to explain all his actions but trust me had no golf edicate. Totally one rude guy.
poor course management
We teed off on time (1:15). We made the turn at (3:15) and when we made the turn there was a foursome on the 10th green., another foursome in the fairway and 2 foursomes waiting on the tee. Needless to say, after 2 and a half hours later,(5:45) we had to call it quits because of darkness after playing 7 holes.
Great job after the storm
The course was in pretty good shape after the hurricane. The staff did a great job.

Bloomingdale
Played this course for 25 yrs. Good layout. Greens and tees just ok. Good job of cleaning up debris. What happened to the ball washers? Good value. Nice to see Lou still in the pro shop
The greens had just been sanded
I like the course but the greens had just been sanded. The fairways and bunkers were in good shape. I will play here again.
Pace of play
Stacked tee times, slow players, and sub optimal course conditions. Simple things could make this course great- but nowhere near the value especially with 5.5 hr pace.
