Beautiful setting. 3 hour round. Greens and fairways in great shape. Excellent facilities/pro shop. Very friendly staff. Great place to play.
Trip to Hunter’s Ranch
It’s been over 15 years since I’ve played this course. Love the track. Four of us stayed over night at a nearby RV park, had breakfast at the course before teeing off at noon. We had a blast. We can’t wait to play here again, especially for me, since I holed out from 121 yards on the first hole for eagle!!! Great times.
Greens!
Excellent greens. Some of the best I’ve played on. Back 9 is challenging.
Hunter ranch - a favorite.
We’re from Monterey so we see many good golf courses. I place Hunter Ranch in the same category as Poppy Hilks and Blackhorse/Bayonet. Great courses, great challenge, and in superb condition.
Got out quick, played in under 4 hours on Sunday, greens were rolling pure.
Great Day at Hunter Ranch
Weather and course conditions were excellent. Check in was a breeze and greens rolling good and true. Next time I’ll need to remember to keep the ball below the hole on many of the challenging greens!
Great Hot Deal Course
This was a great course to play on a hot deal. They just punched the greens so I’m sure they are smoother in mid summer. Watered down fairways mid afternoon but all in all a great experience.
Must Play
I always play this when I'm in town and unlike many courses, the conditions are continuously excellent. I love the layout. The greens are fast but hold well. The fairways have plenty of grass so good lies abound. Great experience every time.
Amazing Day at Hunter!!
Staff was extremely friendly which was a nice change from other courses. Course was in great shape. We were very happy with our experience.
As challenging as I remember it.
It had been almost 25 years since I played HR so was really looking forward to returning with my son and son-in-law. It was all that I remembered and 11 and 12 as challenging as ever. A windy day made it play long from the white tees.
I will say that the greens were in great shape but some fairways, bunkers, and dirt paths between green and tees were in need of some attention. All in all, glad to return.
Nice course, slow pace of play
Course was in good condition. For an early morning tee time, pace of play should have been better.
This course has a great layout and wonderful features
I would play this course everyday if I could. Manicured to perfection.
