Great Course & Pace
I played late morning on a Thursday solo and finished in 3 hours and 20 minutes. A first any where.
Hunter is A-Plus
Hunter Ranch is an excellent golf course in just about all respects. Course condition is second to none. Greens are smooth and quick. The holes provide a wide variety of looks and shot values. In my opinion, the four part 5’s are the heart of the course…all excellently designed holes. Be prepared to encounter wind as it seems to be blowing every time I’ve played. Overall, just an excellent golf experience and a course I could enjoy playing every day.
Super slow & not great condition
The course was okay if you are nearby or have the time, certainly not worth a drive up or adjusting your schedule.
Greens were fast and true which is fun, but course was dry and patchy otherwise with too many layup holes. They have far too much real estate and the back 9 plays like a target course that didn’t have room for proper holes.
Breakfast sandwich was good but overpriced.
Nice course
Been looking at this course for a couple of years.
Finally got to play it. I will definitely play it again.
Great price, course conditions and pace of play
Played Hunter Ranch for the first time on a Golf Pass deal on a Tuesday afternoon. I had heard great things about the course and was excited to give it a try. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of cars in the parking lot and that translated into a great pace of play. I went off as a single and finished the round in under 3.5 hours. The fairways and greens were in great condition. The course layout was fun but challenging. I’ll definitely be back!
Central Coast Golf
Beautiful and challenging layout
Back 9 is more target golf
visually appealing
Greens extremely fast
One of the best in the area for sure
Easy Doubles, Hard Bogeys
I am a near scratch golfer and this course is like playing a par 80. Ridiculous sloping fairways, so I good shot can end up in a bad spot. Severe greens where 2 putting is a miracle and one putting is impossible from outside of 3 feet.
I read that the owner of the property designed the course...it shows. Nonsensical routing.
