Course Highlights
Well-maintained fairways, receptive undulating greens, and a desert layout featuring doglegs and an island green reward strategic play. Friendly staff and outstanding value for money make this course a consistently strong choice.

Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Get a Groundskeeper or Replace the One You Have

Course in terrible shape - definitely NOT worth the $80 greens fee. Install permanent restrooms on the course, not port-a-John’s! This course is among the worst I’ve played in the past 2 years, and I’ve played many in Phoenix and Tucson.

Not even worth the savings.

Everyone is in each others fairways

even if you are a good golfer you will lose so many balls

You’ll literally ruin your clubs on this course. Dirt and rock everywhere

Ranger was rude

golf in a pinch

This was one of the only courses we could find as late as we looked for tee times. The previous two days were rainy, so all courses were filled. I can see why this one had openings. It is ok in a pinch, but wouldn't play again.

Greens we're weird

Years ago course use to be in better condition. Some of the greens were faster than others, but look like they had a disease. Definitely not a 80.00 plus per round so I will not play this course again until the summer, when fees will be where they should be.

Will return

1st time playing here having traveled to Phoenix area from Minnesota. Will put this course on our return to Playlist for the next trip here. Course was fun, pace of play was good (thanks to the Ranger), greens were nice and staff was friendly.

Dissapoiting

the overseeding or whatever was going on made it impossible to read the greens.. IMO greens are most important part of the course ...if the greens are camouflage I will not return!!!

Rough Front 9, great Mountain views

The course is not in great shape! The front 9 was in very rough condition. The back 9 fairways and greens were in better condition. The mountain views were gorgeous! The driving range is horrible.

Pretty Rough condition, great mountain views.

Front 9 greens were pretty rough, back 9 fairways and greens were much better. Driving range needs A Lot of work. The plus to this course was the amazing views of the mountains!

Always a long arry to get the fairway from teebox especially for ladies. Front nine greens were patchy and rough. Back nine much better.

Interesting course

Although a little rough the course was fun. There are a lot of gravel areas throughout the course.

Still a good time

Goat pasture

Was so surprised when they insisted on a 50 degree rule. Once on the course wondering what they were preserving. Very hard to find next hole poor markings. Was asked to pick up pace, no one in front of us when started finished in four hours.

Wouldn't play again

Way overpriced. Front 9 greens are horrible, ball bounces all over on your putt. Back 9 better, but are quite hard and really tough to get a ball to hold on approaches. Wouldn't play again unless price comes down.

Yearly favourite

Usually play this course every time I visit, worst condition I’ve seen the greens. Rest of the course is ok condition but the greens are very bouncy
