About
Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Solid value for the money
Pace of play was slow as busy on Saturday, but course in good shape overall. Greens had a few rough spots, but rolled pretty well. Tee boxes were good. A few bad pin placements for weekend that slowed pace of play.
Desert course
The greens and overseeded fairways were in pretty good shape. Otherwise pretty much gravel and sand.
Too expensive for the course condition
The fairways are the worst we played in USA.
The greens are not in good condition
The course is too expensive for its quality but golfers are anyway playing this course
Nice day at Apache Creek
Pace of play was moderate. Tees and fairways in nice shape; greens were so so. Nice driving range, practice putting and chipping areas.
Nice but slow
Course is above average, but pace was slow, slow, slow…….especially on the back nine
Good but slow
We really enjoy this course but it was very slow . It would be nice if there was a little more grass instead of rock so you wouldn't have to wreck your clubs. Otherwise we really enjoy the value and the view. People are great.
Golf day
The course itself was in pretty good shape . Great day golfing but just was very slow play .
Fairway or nothing
If you don’t hit the fairway, you are in desert. No type of rough. Only some dead dry grass for about 5 to 10 feet. If this dry grass would get watered or seeded, then course would be more fun/fair.
Young fellow at check in has a very poor attitude,Rude and not friendly. Course is priced for the type of course it is
Should have known better
The piece keeps going up and the corse keeps getting worse. The greens were in really bad shape. The 17th fairway was dead grass that was painted green… very disappointing in the condition of the course.
A__holes
The so-called golfers who were playing behind us hit into us at least 5 times,
They knew that I didn’t appreciate after I waved at them, after 2 balls rolled by us.
I confronted them on the next tee box, but I was told to f___off.
Apparently the locals do what they want to do.

The wind blew a bit and the greens are in good shape but be warned theyy do have a fair bit of break!!
Over all a very pleasant 4 hours and 10 minutes even though it was crowded it moved right along.
Give it a try sometime, you will enjoy it .
