About
Although there are many other desert golf courses in the Phoenix area, Apache Creek Golf Club offers one challenging championship course that requires the use of every club. The golf course features wide open fairways and undulating greens that are sloped back to front, some are also double-tiered. There are also numerous sand and grass bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. Extensive mounding on the course cause uneven lies and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The most difficult of the several demanding holes on this golf course, is the lengthy par-5, 10th hole. Apache Creek Golf Club also boasts two practice greens, a pitching and chipping green with a sand trap, and a large driving range with various targets.

Slow and bumpy
We expect a busy day now that the snowbirds are back, but we did not expect 5+ hours! Also, the greens were bumpy as heck, but otherwise in decent condition. Roll!!!
Course is player friendly yet challenging.
Great layout. Condition of corse overall is 3.5/5.
Great value and love the trueness of the greens. Pace of play is fine.
Beverage service on weekends is great. Sarah is punctual, polite, professional and attentive. The best service I have experienced of the many courses I have played in the valley!!! Thank you.
Really fun course
Pace of play didn’t have to be as slow but no marshal to ask super slow players stuck it up faster. 8 practice swings and then a flub. 10 hits to get to the green. Camon man
Nice round-Great Value
Had a great day even after all the rain on Saturday. Course must drain well, there were a few puddles but overall the course was in great shape. Had a great time!
Really Poor Conditions
I've played Apache Creek near my house quite a few times, so I only expect an average course for a decent price. However, this time conditions were incredibly poor; little to no grass, bumpiest greens ever, and never a good lie, even in the fairways. Very, very poor conditions.
Apache Creek
For $69 the course is in horrible shape. One of our guys in the foursome refused to play because of the condition of the course. It took over an hour to play the first three holes. Total crap.
Disappointing
This was our third third time in ten days playing this coarse, they had spread manure pellets on the green which made putting brutal.
They made some improvements
Easy to find, easy check n,carts worn but ok, sand bottles and get water bottles at start, tees need care, we were cart path only and for this course see no need for that, bunkers with lots of water, greens with light sand cover and not cut, GN rate was the cheapest, supposedly opening fairways next week, have done fairway work on three holes and is much more user friendly, one more hole could use the same, and then they just need to care for it better, will go back later but think will look elsewhere for a while
