Play was a bit slow, we waited on every hole, but acceptable, not backed up. However when we got to #10, a group jumped in between us and the group we were following. The group that jumped in had been earlier, stopped for lunch at the turn, so they lost their position. They should be required to wait until there is a discernable break in groups coming thru, not jump jump in front of a group which is keeping up with the group in front and not lagging behind. It made our group wait and thus the groups following us had to wait as well. This is unfair to the groups making the turn on time. If a group breaks for lunch they should wait for a space to become available and not jump in front of an oncoming group.

Course layout is interesting. Lots of doglegs and slopes. Fairways thin in November but consistent. Greens very fast. Par 3s challenging with length and greens on up-slope of elevated. Long par fours challenging. Short par fours and fives are the main scoring opportunities. Greens must be approached with lofted shots to hold.....angled shots will urn through them. Chips and pitches difficult with thin fairways and fast greens. Thin greens may just be a late fall condition. Course was interesting, fun to play. and will definitely return at all times of year. Set up for tee shots was excellent...you could always see where to go and optimize position for approach shot....don't forget to take into effect slopes.

I enjoy playing this course, but they shouldn't allow fivesomes to play.Ihope new management changes this policy,or they will lose customers

Putting green shot. Course greens hard and super fast. No grass in the designated area on the driving range. Drove up from Phoenix area and was very disappointed.

This course is in the mist of changing ownership so in fairness it's hard to give an accurate critique. Currently the pace of play is and always has been a problem at this course and still is. Extremely slow play and 4:45 minute rounds are unacceptable on a course like this. It seems to attract a large number of hackers which would be ok but please educate them on golf etiquette. It is NOT acceptable to take 20 plus minutes to play a par 4. Five minute rule MAX when looking for a ball, two to three is actually more acceptable. Enough for this round. Let's see how the course fares in six months.

A good track in good condition & maybe the toughest par 3s in the county, Great price & staff very helpful. While it is not a premium course like in the valley it is very challenging with fast greens very hard to read. Every hole has its own challenge but would play short for long accurate (young) golfers. Underrated by stoke & slope- it is a mountain course with nice views.

Course was your n great shape as far as fairways and greens. Greens were fast and true. Little hard but it’s been a dry summer. Great time and will play again. Good luck to new owners.

Over watered around the greens,the rest of course was perfect,overly fast greens for average play it great for good players.

Good time. Cups seem to be crowned more than normal. Play a little slow but I think we were behind a tournament. 4.5 hour round. Otherwise, it is a fun course and a good time. We enjoyed our day.

New owners of less than one week and course in much better shape! Cart paths repaired, new ball washers (and with water!), greens great, weeds trimmed, generally new life!

Have real hopes these owners will return this nice course to the great shape it was once in!

Very disappointed with this course, so many 5-somes ahead of us . Waiting on every shot. Turned a nice day into a real disappointment . Could not recommend this course to anyone. Hope the new management puts a end to slow play on this course

The grounds crew has to do a better job of clearing leaves from the fairway. We spent a goodly amount of time looking for our balls and it was difficult with all the leaves on the fairway

I thoroughly enjoyed my round at Prescott Golf Club. The course is in great condition. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a great value and would definitely play again.

Chose this course to get a course with elevation to beat the heat in Scottsdale - it did not disappoint as it was 20 degF cooler (98 vs 78). It was windy, but the course isn't that tight so it could be accommodated. My wife played with me and she found the course women friendly for a high handicapper.

Not as much desert here, views were good!

Course itself is in good shape. Greens have good grass, soft but not too spongy. Some tee boxes shoddy. Fairways OK. Rough OK. Pace of play average. Practice green is in bad shape. Cashiers do poor job of announcing groups.
